That is my favourite spot to have laksa (Mr Brown's Laksa). The broth is thick plus they only use thigh meat for the chicken shreds. Apart from laksa, the restaurant has a selection of food too. The fried noodles/kueh tiaw stall at the backdoes quite good fried stuff. The foochow stall selling kampua/mee sua does it well too. Addititionally there is kolo mee and porridge.

Yi Ann 's been around for many years. It had been formerly referred to as Mr. Brown. Today it has 8 different food hawker stalls and a restaurant. My favourite stalls serve Sarawak laksa, special at rm9, standard at 7. I also benefit from the Foochow specialitiesespecially the kampua, the chicken mee sua and the kolo mee stall with excellent mixed pork soup. The place is commonly busy and usually full between 8am and 9.30am nevertheless, you will get a seat or two. The drinks, especially the kopi o is good too. Parking could be difficult.

Sarawak Laksa as detailed by other reviewers is great. Much better than that in Choon Hui where in fact the late Anthony Bourdain had painted glorious review. The wanton is good too. Good coffee. Sure another here again.
