Delicious Bedayu food, friendly people, the restaurant includes a lot of character, through the weekend it has such as a night market and the owners are actually friendly and nice. This can be a must visit place.

The Bikalan is crucial visit! Andy and Grace are wonderful , friendly and kind owners who'll make sure you are well fed rather than thirsty. The midin and cangkuk manis are super tasty and 1602 local craft beer transpired perfectly. The settingis very atmospheric with the night time market and results in an extremely special Sarawak particular date. Thanks Andy and Grace!

Bikalan is recommend A PLACE TO MEET UP FRIENDS AND NEW PEOPLE. It really is located at a little ancient town of Siniawan in the Bau district. Characterised by its rustic, traditional wooden shop houses. Amazing Bar experience with the neighborhood and western elements applied. Musttry their yummy signature dishes and cocktails. Must meet also the friendly couple@owner Grace and Andy. Many thanks so much for the hearty welcome.

Decided to turn out to the place after most bars on Kuching waterfront not allowing children into bars. Andy and Grace were very welcoming and couldn’t bend over backwards enough for all of us. The beers and cocktails were flowing and most of us left with big smileson our faces!

Experienced Malaysia for 3 weeks up to now, and this is the better bar we’ve visited! Siniawan was the highlight of Kuching’s night life, which bar made it! Grace and Andy are so friendly, the costs are reasonable and much more importantly the costs arefab! A home abroad without having to be tacky, and associated with the local culture. Cannot recommend more, a must-visit. (P.S- that they had my local teams scarf)

Very epic place for a nightime visit through the weekday time. Not merely weekend nightmarket. A pal drove us there, recomended that it's a must to see place which is indeed. We got from the car at the silent parking at theback of the heritage houses, with just a sounds of nature surrounding a location and occasional car on the highway. No sign of other folks, around, only few cars. We walked through the narrow ally with a wall painting which our friend is focusing on during daytime and we saw Bikalan. Many chilled individuals were chitchating, peacefully drinking beer within an openair local pub in the center of the sleepy heritage street. Very clean and cosy looking place with a music not too lound as generally in most pubs in the town. We got a warm welcome from the owners who even stayed to speak to us and explained us the story of these place, how they combined a normal create with a european touch. So nice of these. As they travel a whole lot, and know many places, we discovered that Andy visited even my city in Slovakia! Just what a surprise in a heritage invest Sarawak, so far from my home. I could only recommend. Thanks.

Based upon the fantastic reviews here and on website, I made a decision to stop at around 4pm for a couple of drinks prior to the whole area starts to obtain busy. There was just a table with guests as the remaining tables were stillunoccupied. Service was mediocre because the waitresses were more preoccupied making use of their own phones. This wasn't a concern as you can order and obtain your beer at the counter. What annoyed me was that only once they delivered your drinks for you that they mention you'll "need to" order food aswell to be able to sit at their establishment. Seriously? What type of effing policy is this? I am aware when you have a "no outside food and drinks allowed" policy. But to force your customer to get food when they have previously bought drinks at your pub is merely foul play particularly when you're within an area known because of its food. While food prices as of this place isn't exorbitant, prices remain higher set alongside the numerous other eateries available nearby. There is also no signage indicating this 'brilliant' policy. I have no idea about you but Personally, i hate to be required to buy stuff. Highly disappointed with my visit and I'm sincerely advising those who find themselves reading this review to remain away!

Visited this joint on 17 Jun 2022 (Fri) with two buddies of mine. Heard so much about any of it & their lethal unprintable lethal cocktail drink. Had a great time there with my pals. Owners were both friendly & distributed to us tonnes of stories. Highlyrecommended!!!
