I actually stopped by mid-7 days for an area of lunch. Situated in the Aged Courthouse behind the tourism website visitor centre, Commons has higher ceilings and a polished wood flooring, and furnished with eclectic home furniture: bookcases and sofas along one wall structure fronted by rattan peacock chair, andlong eating tables at the center. Cake and coffee may be the usual fare. Commons has an a la carte menus. I attempted the oxtail stew along with a lychee cucumber beverage. Both had been divine. The oxtail, dropping off the bone has been rich and tasty. The coolness of the cucumber had been a great comparison to the sweetness of the lychee. A pleasant dinner in a tranquil atmosphere. Service might have been a bit more attentive, my only complaint.

My friend and I really like the cakes and espresso here. Is really a nice environment to hold out with close friends. Commons is definitely a place for all of us to hang out. We will keep coming back again!

Great spot to chill with friend.The server was quite friendly(Siti). I purchased the pasta, it had been tasty but a tad little bit watery.Even though, my knowledge with the eating place is great and enjoyable. I'm keen to come back again and next time, provide morepeople to the place.

My experience at Commons has been very interesting. Surviving in a historical place that stood over the landmark waterfront claims a place to hold around with an excellent view and pristine environment. We was recommended to purchase the cheesecake. Issa goood!

Discovered this spot when hanging out from The Den nearby. The place looks great and did attempt their cakes. If you are looking for a spot to hang out with a lovely environment, this is actually the cafe to move! They got games too!

Found this place after a day stop by at the Ranee Museum...it really is in the same courtroom. Long display cabinet filled with cakes! After a short go to for cappuccino and Crimson Velvet cake, a come back early evening search for a few nights afterwards for Pecorino AglioOlio with broccoli that was delicious. My first-time was Alright. Ordered pasta and its own oily. Waiters were helpful. Second visit, the area was fulled with reservation (with plenty of empty tables). Ordered Pan Seared Seabass and Salted Caramel Vanilla Cake.. Seabass had been Rm38 and the cake was Rm16. Seafood came. The whiff as a result at first has been smelly. Salted caramel cake..we can not finish it. Caramel had been certainly burnt cuz it tasted bitter. My pal even caught little bit of salt in the buttercream. The buttercream is indeed salty. I cannot also surface finish it and I appreciate cakes. But this, as a baker and a cake lover, I will not even place this on the menus...Sorry. Atmosphere was great but food has gone out. Very touristy clean cafe! Clean and good meals! Nice cakes and pleasant staff!! It’s a fresh a new spot to sit, to beverage a espresso or eat in huge groups with friends.
