The Restoran Duyong is really a rustic rambling building on stilts in a pleasant location on the Cherating River with colourful lamps during the night. We ate supper there twice. The menus was quite considerable. We attempted the chilli prawns, poultry and cashews, a Char Keow Teowand a fried rice in egg parcel and loved them all. We furthermore loved the refreshing lime fruit juice. They have a variety of small and big tables and, using one night, we distributed to a French tourist and liked sharing experiences aswell. We could actually park easily nearby. I'll remember this eating place fondly.

I read the reviews concerning this restaurant and take to and so therefore i guess nothing specific we purchase siakap steam lime and flavor horrible...gravy chilly and fish no clean..then we purchase kailan beef that is ok just...nasi goreng cina furthermore not a bigdeal...the only real tasty and may accept sweet and sour chicken that is nice besides that nothing special...cafe quality bad...rundown...therefore many mosquitoes if u opt to move bring mosquitoes repellent could be becoz restaurant in the river...look aged and really should improve in cleanliness

Worst eating place WVER! 1.5 hour to obtain the food out!!!! The meals was sluggish and we didn’t also obtain the food ordered. Rather various other customer ordering later on than us did! 1 more thing! Evidently you can’t make a booking through phone however when wearrived there have been tables reserved for some other groups! WTH. Remember people we was included with kids! These were tired and starving looking forward to the mediocre food. Extremely inconsiderate staff furthermore. Every complain will undoubtedly be replied with another excuse. USUALLY DO NOT COME Right here REGARDLESS OF HOW HUNGRY YOU'RE

This restaurant comes off to New owner.. I'd say among the worst service I ran across. I waited such as 1hrs 30min for my food. Imagine 2 hungry toddlers plus they delay the meals. This is unaccepted. Will be either you enhance or youclose down unless you understand how to run a restaurant.

Really great food and very good prices - beautiful riverside location. It's nice since they have great Thai selections and also Chinese and Malay. Plus they serve beer:-)

I seldom do that but that is absolutely unacceptable. Everything they offered was wrong rather than new at all. The most severe dinner vacation with my children ever!!!! Everything is bad!

Good seafood restaurant, affordable and essential visit if you are at Kg Cherating. It really is situated at the secondary lane of Kg Cherating and for that reason, you have to drive slowly and adhere to the signboard while getting into the driveway to the cafe (especially atnight).

I love the place. we went there for lunch time and dinner. 1- the dog owner is super friendly. 2- the food cost is super inexpensive with high quality 3- staffs are pleasant 4- The support is perfect !!!!! 5- the area is close to lake, sothe temperature is merely good! 6- The tom yum is indeed good

We always make an effort to eat here whenever we are in Cherating. The meals will be fab and the personnel very friendly. The sights over the river are excellent too.

Proceeded to go there with family for supper, restaurant was complete but still we got a place. Looking forward to almost 20mins without one attended us, one woman came over and simply in very rude way..."we have thus many orders" and simply walked apart withoutexplaining anything further or even how long does it take for the meals to end up being served. Waited another 10mins and walked out and the dog owner seems not really bothered. We visited nearby restaurant that was recommended by the main one of her personnel in more polite way. Guess since that is only chinese foods obtainable around cherating the dog owner attitude was on the line.
