A small, simple, thoroughly clean and cosy cafe. The yong taufu (brinjals, bitter gourds and bean curd filled up with a mixture of seafood and pork paste) have become big size and tasty. The curry is quite lemak and delicious. There are several other delicious products onthe menu. In addition they offer different "today's specific" . The service is quick and friendly. This location is always crowded.

Tested this place for the snack. Attained 11am on weekly day. No group. Tried the soup and sauce/gravy variants. The soup had been delicious. The stuffed taufu appeared nothing like conventional yong taufu. It had been bigger, how big is the filling equivalent tothe taufu and the complete piece properly fried to a golden dark brown. Very good as it has been packed with chives. The stuffed brinjal and bitter melon weren't as big and tasty. The stuffed beancurd roll appeared as if a slightly bigger edition of the rolls you obtain at a dim sum cafe. No plastic containers of lovely sauce and chilli sauce supplied. Just a small dish with a blob of chilli sauce in soya sauce (I believe).

Huge part of noodles with huge bits of yong tau foo and 2 bits of taufoo pok (beancurd puff). It was included with a piece all of brinjal, bitter gourd and smooth taufoo generously filled with hakka yong taufoo paste. The noodles taste much better than theusual yellowish noodles. The curry soup is certainly creamy and spicy, yet on the nice side. The tiny dollop of chilli paste will be good too. A glass of kopi-o finished my meal. An extremely filling and fulfilling lunch.

We'd the dry noodles (do-it-yourself) with 3 bits of Yong tau fu which was included with curry sauce. The noodles proceeded to go perfectly with the curry sauce. Yong tau fu provides big little bit of filling. Reasonable item in air-conditioned location. Come earlier for lunchas it will get crowded.

A MUST in case you are in town and like curry and Yong Taufu. A straightforward cafe with friendly support and sweet lady proprietor. The curry Broth is well stability, fragrant with tinge of sweetness to harmonise all flavour, yum. The dried out noodle is delicious blended, the yong Taufu is performed to the proper texture and taste. They're pretty big, actually filled me up. The Teh O is nice too. I had an ideal breakfast will certainly be when in Kuantan.

The Yong tau Foo is crucial try. It’s delicious! It is possible to pick from clear soup, dried out or curry bottom soup. The only real set back may be the waiting is fairly long

Car parking is difficult. Seating in the cafe is also limited. You will need to steer clear of the peak hours. The waitress might use more manners and smiles when speaking with customers. So 3 warning flag, even before seated. However, all of the displeasures disappear right after bitinginto the meals. Scrumptious part of the mince in the Yong yau foo, plus refreshing elements. Explains the arrogance of the eating place.

Jess Café opens with 9:00am. We wanted a COVID-safe desk, so we were currently sitting at 1 of 2 outside tables by 8:50am once the shutters were nevertheless down. 9:00 nothing. 9:05 nothing. 9:10 nothing. Some individuals came and stood around. At 9:12am someone from the store pulled upward the shutters. And before we understood it, a little crowd arrived of nowhere and rushed directly into queue up at the counter in the shop. By enough time I placed on my mask and became a member of, I had been #5 in the queue. Didn’t understand that at Jess Café, you have to purchase at the counter, and gather lots for table service later on…🤦♂️ (Hope this can help other people to Kuantan. 😂 ) Fortunately, service was quite fast. The yong-taufu this is actually the highlight. Parts are big, and delicious! Unlike other dining places, there aren’t that lots of choices-bitter gourd, brinjal, tofu, tau-pok, that’s it. The curry noodle, though, isn’t that outstanding. Simply treat it because the side-show. 😊
