I visited perhentian kecil island in 16th July 2008 for a diving training course. I stayed at aur nur, among the chalet in coral bay. On 17th july, i went over to another aspect of island where lengthy beach is. Ireally liked the vacation until my dinner knowledge in MOONLIGHT CHALET eating place. Apprently, I have still left my handphone(motorola V3) up for grabs right after settling the bill and hurried aside wanted to get back to my chalet since it was needs to rain. Halfway, I realised I've left the phone up for grabs. Panicked and rapidly ran over to check out. To my dismay, it had been not there any more. That has been about 10 mins when i left.. I request all of the staffs but nobody state to have noticed it and strange good enough nobody keep in mind who cleared the desk. It was simply 10mins ago! In any case, I suspected among the personnel who persistently denied using it (because when i was walking from my desk, he was strolling towards it and going to bus it). Since he doesn't desire to admit it also it had been me who was simply careless to possess left it there, we made a cope with him. I informed him that when anybody found the telephone, i would pay see your face an incentive in monetary form. The very next day that guy came over to check out me. He explained that his buddy has found the telephone and demanded some cash, I really was glad not due to the phone but instead this content of it. The majority of my company contacts are inside. I didn't question him significantly and paid RM100. Silly of me because didn't check the telephone properly. After he's got gone, I then found out that he provides purposely spoilt the telephone to the expand of the front display screen has fallen off plus some components tampered. I has been furious as why he'd do such factor while looking to get the money. Of course not many people are dishonest there but one incident will do for me never to go there any longer. I am certain that this incident isn't the very first and the final. I sure wish that the administration or proprietor of MOONLIGHT CHALET at Longer Beach would seriously consider hiring better employees as thus giving bad impact to tourism. Upset customer! The areas are ok, liveable for the most part. No mosquito nets therefore beware. you truly need some with this island. Employees are usually island boy rasta varieties. Great dudes. No bookings permitted therefore don't bother trying. They're very rude about you attempting to book aswell.Electiricty cuts off with 7 AM and begins on 7 PM. One plus thing is they have a actually excellent view of the seaside and they are a long way away from the sound. I dislike Perhentian for just having a stroll in policy so you can get rooms.

Its quite happening here, I actually went with my close friends here for total moon party on 4 20th 2016. simply no booking allowed around long beach. so simply all the areas there. and here, electrical power cuts on morning and electricity will back again on 6pm

Sadly, about (22nd June 2017)we saw the final remaining little bit of Moonlight Chalet because the property offers been sold and there's a huge fresh hotel being built onto it!
