For authentic Hokkien meals, search no further than this relatively concealed eating place tucked on the initial ground of Plaza Seri Setia in Sungai Way area. I'd been going right now there a few times and also have never been dissatisfied before. They were highlighted in Axian Television showbefore and so are still going solid today with the assistance of several loyal customers. My last time proceeding there is with my university classmates and had an enjoyable experience there. ◾fried tapioca flour noodles - referred to as "pak kor" within Cantonese, this hard-to-find dish includes a large amount of crispy lards, bean sprouts, egg, and several meats... All in an essential dosage of wok hei to provide that satisfying meal. ◾fried glass noodle (tang hun) - taste-wise like the tapioca noodle but you'd obtain the same satisfaction along with the noodle made making use of mung bean. ◾Hokkien braised pork (taw yew bak) with alkaline kuih - braised pork is simple to get but "Kan sui gou" (alkaline kuih)? My first-time seeing this kind of kuih either.. evidently they dip the kuih in to the sauce and eat exactly like that. Kuih has been tasteless without sauce but positive thing may be the sauce was excellent. ◾deep fried springtime roll - ideal snack while looking forward to the dishes to reach. ◾Deep fried seafood with braised peanuts - this fish has been cooked twice.. first serious fried before braised in the very clear peanut broth that has been clear and somewhat spicy with fragrant from the peanuts. ◾heavy fried eggplant - easily approved of as salt & pepper squid or even for the color and shape. The eggplants had been covered with plenty of minced garlic and strewn with springtime onions. Quite tempura-like... Addictive things which I'll definitely purchase again. A genuine treat Reward - steamed famous Muar otak-otak which our buddy brought completely from Bandar Maharani. The meals quality was spectacular yet homey and unpretentious with some traditional taste to it. The only real downside may be the parking (road aspect is nearly impossible) is not common and the only real solution would be to park inside the constructing itself which I'd state dated and tired.
