High on the list of skyscrapers in the center of KL city, nicely hidden in just a little lane away from Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, I discovered the most properly kept gastronomy key; The 19th Suzuki Hanten restaurant. The eating place is definitely housed in a beautifully and sympathetically refurbished2 tale bungalow, and therefore retaining a lot of its original functions. The many dining alcoves and areas exudes an air flow of Chinese artwork deco era. The restaurant focuses on sensitive Sichuan cuisine and await it, ...... headed by Chef Shotaro Takemura a Japanese Chef whose profession originated at the Shisen Hanten in Nihonbashi, Tokyo years back. On this particular event, I was among eight visitors who had the nice fortune to savour a 7 course dinner menus. Each articulately presented training course was delicate in flavor and beautifully proportioned. Consider of Chinese Sichuan cuisine with Japanese quality food. A rare mixture rather than easily found elsewhere. The service was impeccable and the wait staff were rather exceptional anticipating every want of the diner through the entire evening. I'd say the night time was a resounding achievement which would definitely end up being, in my own humble opinion; among my favourite eating venues for Sichuan meals. Strongly suggested for any website.

Read the examine and figured it will be a good cafe to visit. We proceeded to go there with high expectations and were place back again from the shabby form of the area. Old building poor decoration but occasionally 1st impressions are usually misleading. We ordered: stir fried Beefwith crimson pepper 83RM 1 apple juice, 3 honeydew juices 60RM 1 stir fried veggies 23RM 1 Mapo Tofu 31RM 2 assorted steamed dumplings 52RM What a disappointed. Beef had no flavor and tasted like mix fried SPAM. the tofu had been swimming in palm essential oil and as well salty, the dumplings tasted like that they had been produced the 7 days before and the mix fried veggies had been super salty. To create matters worse, we'd to wait about half an hour to obtain served and were going to walk out the entranceway when our second purchase of dumplings arrived. avoid this place. Probably the Wagyu beef area is way better upstairs but why danger it at this cost and with this sort of service
