A very nice and decent thai restaurant. With a very friendly staff, who greet everyone and deliver great service. On the food, superb! I was very amazed by their food presentation. Tried the crab meat fried rice and thai syrup with milk or we known as sirap bandung over here :)

I ordered the Pad Thai with King Prawns. So happy when it came. The prawns were big and the presentation was pretty. Taste wise, its not bad la.. Tasted better elsewhere, but still decent here.. DON'T order the red rubies though..

Went to this restaurant twice! Great service with friendly staff. My personal favourite from the menu has got to be the fried prawn cake. You an actually taste the freshness of the prawn; definitely not the frozen junk. The mango sticky rice was decent; mangoes were really fresh. Also tried the cashew chicken and kang kong belacan. Overall, food was god and I wouldn't mind going back again.

Let's face it, "Thai cup" isn't the most prominent thai restaurant in Kuala Lumpur- because Kuala Lumpur is quite feisty when it comes to thai food, however, with that said, for those some of us hankering for good Thai food while walking in Publika, Thai cup is pretty good, reasonably priced (for this area) and would satisfy that quick thai craving, plus their service is above excellent. But my advice is to go easy and not over order, and please be smart with the menu, because not everything is on the menu is going to be amazing. I safely would recommend dining family style at Thai cup by ordering the steamed (Seabass) siakap cooked with chili-lime-garlic sauce- amazing blend of sour, spicy and hint of sweetness with the aromatic smell of the lime and coriander in a perfect marriage, while the fish was fresh (not fishy), Rm 33.90 Tom yum seafood (clear soup)- slightly spicy, sweet, salty, and sour with an abundant amount of seafood- and all taste pretty fresh, RM 13.90 kangkung belacan- perfect taste with that nice wok char taste and their RM 26.90 fried chicken with sticky rice - a unique thai snack/breakfast that is hardly featured at other thai restaurants. And I would avoid the thai red ruby with coconut milk RM 9.50, because this dessert doesn't use fresh coconut milk, therefore doesn't have that thai refreshing dessert taste- its not bad, just I don't like that aftertaste. Their interior is pretty comfortable and seats 30-60 people; perfect for couples, small groups and families. It has that Thai inspired interior, pretty modern, yet with that warm wooden thai element surrounding the restaurant. Its located on the 3rd floor or G3 of Publika mall. Towards the east side. Parking is easily available in the underground garage of the Publika mall, and its "touch and go" friendly- pricy parking tho. They also offer free "wi-fi" so perfect to share all those photos and surf on the internet while dining. Service here is impeccable- very attentive, friendly and efficient. Food ready within 10-15 minutes of ordering. The only improvement I would recommend to Thai Cup is to use fresh coconut milk for the red ruby dessert, because that artificial coconut milk from the box/canned coconut milk leaves such a strong aftertaste, in an otherwise perfect dessert.

Not nice, you can find better and more authentic Thai restaurants anywhere else in KL but not Thai Cup. The green curry is so watery and full of oil and their Tom yum soup is so sour and spicy and salty to the extent we did not touch the soup. Plus the dishes are too pricey for the portion they served us.
