Service was good and there have been multiple waiters who constantly refill our beverages/drinking water and would check up on how exactly we liked our meals. For starters we obtained calamari and poultry satays but both had been fried. Perhaps it could have already been nicer if we'd picked additional options as fried foods is commonly pretty regular/generic. The menu referred to the calamari as fried on a mattress of kang kong but didnt anticipate that the vegetable will be fried too.For the mains the duck in red curry was excellent - I love red curry which didn't disappoint. Also a good touch that there have been chunks of pineapple and grapes inside. The pan seared ocean bass was just alright - the seafood didn't flavor that fresh nonetheless it wasnt terrible either. The sauce for this simply wasn't to my specific liking (thai chilli). The fried rice was quite standard aswell - good but nothing specific. Overall a good food but for the purchase price, not particularly special.

Food (4): We had soft shell crab for appetizer and an extremely delicious beef with some basil and peppercorns onto it. The crab really was good and an easy task to consume. The seasoning for this was on stage. The beef had been tender and delicious. Extremely flavorful beef and the sauce managed to get even better. I'll say that what harm my experience a little has been the basil and peppercorns. I'm realizing now that I'm not that big in it. But to be reasonable it had been kinda my fault since i have knew what the elements were. So in no way the fault of the eating place. Price (3): Affordable for an upscale encounter, but I'd still consider this a little on the high aspect. Service (4): Was good. They were fast about taking my purchase and processing the check out. Food arrived at an acceptable time. Easy to obtain the waiters to come quickly to your table because they are simply standing aside quite visibly. But to become fair it had been kinda empty when I emerged there in order that could end up being the reason. Waiter was great about explaining the menus and was great about going to to my drinks. Ambiance (5): Once you appear to the stairs of the cafe at night, you're given the gracious welcome by beautiful lantern lighting. There's the choice of inside and outside settings. The decoration was beautiful. Nice wooden ceilings for a slopping roofing and the reddish colored lanterns inside the larger lantern container provided a good Southeast Asian experience to it. Actually most of the decoration did that. The light is dimmed so it's best for more intimate meals.

We went with my boyf for supper on Saturday evening. We could actually make a booking on that time for 9pm. Whenever we arrived, there have been 3 tables completing and we were final seating (last purchase in kitchen is 22:30.) The road up to the eating place is certainly lined with tealights and crimson lanterns- very fairly (I'm the sucker for lanterns and lights inside trees!) The cafe itself is wonderful with white wall space contrasting with dark wooden and more reddish lantern installations. There's great space between your tables therefore no-one feels too near their neighbour. Our waiter was inside training and was really attentive and proficient in the eating place history and menus. We purchased soup of scallops in coconut milk and smooth shelled crab in 3 flavoured sauce to begin with. The soup really was delicious- the ideal mix of spicy and slight coconut alongside mushrooms and some veggies. One bowl will do to talk about between 2 individuals. The gentle shelled crab in 3 flavour sauce was extremely tasty as nicely- a lovely mix of lovely and spicy. For mains, we shared river lobster in tamarind sauce and reddish colored snapper in ginger sauce plus a plate of steamed rice. The river lobster in tamarind sauce had been a winner for me personally. The sauce really was delicious- another lovely mix of sweet with quite mild spice-and river lobster huge and succulent. This dish will be again big enough to talk about between 2 people because the river lobster will be divided in two parts. The crimson snapper in ginger sauce has been a little disappointing for both folks as we anticipated the sauce to get a stronger ginger flavour. Rather it had been very, very mild-more such as a broth when compared to a sauce. The seafood itself had been meaty and properly cooked nevertheless. To accompany our dinner, we'd a bottle of a Barossa Valley Viognier that was nice- perhaps at first a bit more "oaky" than I'd normally choose nonetheless it went well with this meal and was pleasurable nonetheless. That is quite a pricey restaurant by KL specifications- for the ambience, program and food, it really is worthy of it for a particular treat. We did sense a little letdown by the snapper in ginger sauce dish but general, it was a pleasant knowledge for a Saturday night time.
