Loved the easy tasting menu as of this hidden place. Traditional Sushi counter design. Chef Sam generates for us a particular, unique tailored menu filled with mellow, subtle flavors. Little and intimate eating place with hardly any guests. Being a regional Malaysian I believed I knew allthe great Sushi / Japanese around. Location is not really the very best not very central.

Second omakase experience within KL (the trending eating experience we have proceeding locally). Experienced the Miyabi program, chef introduced each sushi 🍣 in basic uncluttered plating by the bar, each training course is a party in my own mouth experience with gently wasabi raised absoluteumami (and I didn’t even work with soy sauce). So that it arranged benchmark for potential future omakase ahead. Doumo arigatou!

I was going to from SF and also have already been eyeing this spot to try when I has been back again visiting family, and sadly, had to leave 100% disappointed afterour June 10th dinner. We'd a celebration of 3 but had been shocked whenever we were informed after getting seated, that it might be a tempura omakase versus the anticipated sushi omakase because the head chef had not been available! To begin with, why weren’t we informed that the top sushi chef was in travel, plus they couldn’t serve raw fish ahead of our reservation? This will be the very first thing any eating place, let alone fine eating, would inform their clients particularly when the prepaid reservation had been for sushi omakase rather than tempura omakase. Second of all, the apprentice chefs had been therefore unprofessional in explaining the tempura meals because one of these has been drunk from drinking with a lot of rowdy customers ahead of us arriving for the 8:30pm omakase dinner. We truly had like high expectations ahead of dining as of this place and still left completely disappointed with the meals and the unprofessional screen from the chefs. You might never expect the screen of unprofessionalism once the owner/head chef had not been in town. Unfortunately, what began as an excellent anticipation/expectation meal became quite bizarre by the finish with the drunk and rowdy clients and chefs. By finish of the night time, we felt so unpleasant that people wanted the supper to get rid of quickly. We couldn’t also benefit from the meal anymore with no the idea of the drunk clients approaching us or what would turn out from the drunk chef! The supervisor held apologizing but that has been all he could perform… For the full total cost of RM$2,134.00 for 3 people today, this hardly ever really measured up. Probably they were getting an off night minus the owner/mind sushi chef, but with a cafe of this caliber, it will not issue - we left experiencing utterly underwhelmed by the efficiency of the apprentice chefs.

With that said at Sushi Hibiki, it’s good ambience, lights, excellent chefs and importantly tasty fresh seafood. This is my first actually Omakase experience and really enjoyed the complete session! Firstly, the recycleables are exquisite, all substances are usually imported from Japan. Second of all, it’saesthetically pleasing viewing the chefs executing their art of earning sushi. The primary Chef. Saito Sam will need you into his interest of making sushi. Just he served you're professionally produced where as he'd expose you to the flavours and kind of fishes. The tale of food, the reality altogether gave an excellent insight of the very thought of the dish. Superb foods with sake pairing is merely perfect. Must move try at least one time, it is worth each and every dime. Prompt interest and providers by the supervisor and waitress, thumbs up! Truly recommend!
