Usually, if I've had an excellent food experience, I'm actually eager to share the brand new find and all of the specifics to justify why. The omakase knowledge in KL has already been mushrooming and the purchase price tags simply escalating. Just like lease, I believe it'll hita cost ceiling which clients would pay for an individual meal sitting regularly (not really a once off special event). Furthermore, having patronized the inexpensive and the less inexpensive, in KL and out of KL (Bangkok provides great value and amazing gems, Singapore overrated for the purchase price). Azabu was among those good finds that We raved about. The 1st time I proceeded to go there, everything was simply great. Each training course was just fine in proportions and taste, combining right into a extremely cohesive set and the ideal sweet and lighting ending in the main one bite sized mochi ice lotion golf ball. The waiters and supervisor were attentive and understood their meals. Small details amazed me about the location - my dining companion produced a quip about my large consumption of wasabi as the manager was establishing our table. When offered the sashimi and sushi meals, there was a supplementary spoon on wasabi on my plate. (very sharpened guys!). The high cost was probably someplace in the mid selection of different omakase offerings around however the overall experience managed to get great value. I went back through the winter weather menu, expecting very similar experience with different meals. Something has been amiss. The wait employees team were less skilled rather than as cohesive as before. The influence of the meals also fell short. Maybe because of the ingredients of the growing season, led to a less properly curated set menus? I'm uncertain if i would create a return through the Spring menu to discover if I'm not a Winter woman, specifically with newer establishments approaching.

The sushi was good generally but for the purchase price I think you obtain an improved quality at Sushi Ori. The purchase price distinction will be rm30 for the omakase between Azabu and Ori. I really do believe that the execution, high quality and the amount of sweetness inthe seafood at Ori is really a quality above. The provider and staff are wonderful and polite but sadly the food was a little lacking. I expect even more at the rm500 price per individual. The aburi sushis in the omakase had been excellent though. The chef do pick the fishes with higher extra fat content material for the aburi sushis.

Excellent shushi restaurant managed simply by really courteous Japanese staff. Excellent ambience too. Sea foods acts were fresh. Authentic wasabi provided, that's made at that moment, not like almost every other Japanese restaurants offering ready made artificial wasabi squeezed from tubes. A little priceybut worth a trip.

The nigiri really was good, the various flavors in the mouth area is amazing, the chef Toshihide prepared before us the laundry, and explained about each one of these nigiri. The location is really nice, the costs are appropriate. I’ll recommend this eating place.

Possibility upon Sushi Azabu whilst roaming in Lot 10. Ordered a lunch time set at RM120. Well worth it. Foods was new and flavorful. Sat at the counter and viewed the chef ready and offered the sushi item by item. The miso soup has been memorable asI could odor and flavor the prawn incorporated within it. Highly recommend in the event that you searching for nice and top quality Japanese foods in KL.

The disappointing meal for a higher end sushi cafe. The seafood was of decent high quality but the rice might have been much better. The rice had been as well dry and too frosty, below my anticipations for the prices which were charged. Overall, pretty good, but a lot ofroom for improvement.

What will one expect when choosing an omakase experience? Beauty, nuance, sophistication? Sadly Sushi Azabu provides not one of these. Usually several small sets of diners are permitted to be served straight by the sushi chef, Sushi Azabu chooses to allow an organization of9(!) to use up the complete space - first-time! After that proceeded the nightmare scenario - the group began to deal with the chefs within their entourage - asking the chefs to get their pictures, drinking using them etc., as the other patrons have to wait around for the meals to be prepared. Then, because the group drank even more, they started shouting and laughing therefore unbelievably loud, I’m surprised no police found investigate the general public disturbance. Picture a nightclub placing! I politely informed the waiter that the team was getting rather noisy and is distracting additional patrons from their conversations - and all I acquired has been “I’m sorry”, but there is nothing done. The group certainly continuing with impunity - Sushi Azabu offers ZERO handle over its crowd. Best benefit of the “experience” - there have been multiple seafood bones in another of the laundry for 3 of my social gathering members! When informed, the waiters simply waved it away from and mentioned that “it’s normal”! Never if you ask me having omakase, what even more at high end dining places, have I been informed that seafood cuts getting bones (an inch long!!) are regular, hence we should simply accept it. In various other (more expert) joints, a complaint about seafood bones will begin to be followed by an individual apology by the chef or waiters - however, not at Sushi Azabu! Truly disappointed at the amount of service. It didn’t assist that their apology sounded similar to lip program than sincere remorse. If you want to pay a huge selection of RM to obtain substandard service, just do it - but I'd say there are several more omakase joints superior to this. Just wish that whenever you go, everything works out well, because they will simply provide empty apologies if anything works out otherwise!

I've noticed this specific Japanese eating place tucked in another part of Degree 4, and upon Googling We realised that it had been an omakase-style restaurant. Focusing on how much she loves consuming Japanese food, I delivered her there one great day.. Without the reservation, I didn't expectto have the ability to secure seats at the counter and affirmed we'd to contend sitting at regular table. Nevertheless, the service group was trained to become super efficient for attending you once you need them. Their menu starts from RM120 around shortly before RM500 for his or her omakase style meal. ◾Both folks went because of their Nigiri (RM120 per pax) that was included with a starter, chawan-mushi, 7-pieces of Nigiri sushi, miso soup and dessert. Honestly, this simple omakase will do to fill up my tummy... Starter had been appetising (forgot to consider image); chawan-mushi was excellent.. probably among the best I'd attempted to significantly; the waiter was type enough to recommend which Nigiri sushi to consume first until the finish; and the dessert appeared as if shaved ice but with appetising yuzu flavour inside it. ◾More RM30 for 3-kind of sashimi (tempura also offered by exactly the same price) - very clean and delicious. ◾Cold brew dark brown rice green tea extract available by cup RM15 or by jug RM28 - the latter makes more economic sense A very good very first impression which justify a revisit, budget permits!
