being as a north Indian when I saw the Singh chapati house .. I was like here it is our pleasureable dish of dal, makhan and roti and butter chicken.ordered the same mentioned above and the person who takes care of this restaurant is a Punjabi who has been settled there and has opened this restaurant in a very cheap price.a person gut can be full in less than 25 RM.very jolly and food tastes awesome

The food was Good.Tired of drinking Teh Tarik I tried exploring for the Indian Milk tea when I found this restaurant.Simple Indian food with ordinary environment. Dahi,Paratha and Tea was the perfect breakfast I got in KL.It cost me around 12 MYR

Had sumptuous meals two times during my KL stay at Brickfields. First time we ordered Aloo paratha and butter chicken and mango lassi for drinks. The taste of the butter chicken was nice and the quantity of small serving was sufficient for two persons. The parathas were good too but they did not grease them with butter and were served sans curd or pickle, which was not expected from this Punjabi dhaba style joint! The next afternoon had paneer butter masala and dal makhni with tandoori roti and jeera rice. The taste of both the side items were not as expected... The lentils in makhni were a bit underboiled and 'makkhan-ness' of a makhni wasn't there. The paneer butter masala disappointed me big time. The gravy of a paneer butter masala is the soul of this classic delicacy but in this case the gravy tasted like a bad tofu curry! No cashews, not enough butter, half cooked onions which could be felt on the tongue, the gravy was a big downer! Later i took away chicken biryani for my travel which kind of tasted nice and the chicken pieces and the quantity were damn good for the price. Overall a good place, 4 *s for the chicken dishes which are better than the vegetarian ones.
