Probably the very best vietnamese restaurant I have already been to in KL. Employees gives excellent service. Superb food with great menus variety. It is a nice location to go with buddies and relax. the area probably sits 30 individuals inside and another 10-15 outside. worthy of the5 monute stroll from changkat after a day of drinking. Do not forget to get yourself a foot massage along the way there, they're great. one hour for 60RM.

A revisit after 5 years. Came for beverages and dessert. Food continues to be good - we'd mangosteen salad and mango rum dessert once we already had supper somewhere else. The mangosteen salad is crucial if they own it - so very refreshing and it’sthe greatest appetiser you can ever find! Prices are slightly great however in return they offer an excellent portion (not too little luckily) and top quality. I dislike areas that serves too little of some and charges crazy costs. Here, they charge just a little increased but they offer you what it’s worth. Staffs may also be very friendly and great. They appear to attract more tourist than locals... Maybe the prices is too much for general open public to possess it on daily schedule. Glad to notice them sustaining, most likely the only location that resembles Vietnamese meals food (not really those pho or road, but more of these “fine dining” Vietnam design). Will certainly be back for major courses next time!

As always, fantastic meals and excellent program from Paul, co-proprietor, and waiter Justin. New play on a vintage starter with springtime roll using various additions such as for example rocket, prawn and asparagus. The Lá lot with mint results in and orange slice, all wrapped in lettuce leaf, rolled and dipped right into a tangy sweet chilli dip was flavour heaven. Followed by a striking squid salad along with the just right level of chilli zing. Main has been for me personally beef pho bo that was, as always, best. I really like how they regard diners’ palates by enabling the diner to find the quantity of chilli padi to add. My wife acquired the Vietnamese laksa and, though not earlier a laksa lover, discovered it had been gorgeous and flavourful. Thanks to proprietors Paul and Faisal also to our waiter Justin as well as Mr. Rusli, the person who preserved Melaka from over-growth, who we met once we were leaving. Some photos below

The architecture of the old constructing reminded us of our stop by at HCM. It coziness brings back again fond remembrances of Vietnam, when i stared out the home window overlooking their exquisite backyard. We were welcomed by proprietor Paul and introduced to numerous of these recommended dishesby their lovely flooring staff. Food sensible, our favourite has been the beef la great deal and beef pho, which boast beautiful flavours upon each and every bite. Another dish I'd recommend will be the seafood noodle soup, that is bursting with flavours from the tomato-based soup. WHEN I celebrated my birthday celebration, Paul organised for a caramel pudding on the home for all of us, which everyone enjoyed quite definitely. Our family's currently looking towards our next visit!

Foods are original such as for example "beef la great deal" and "co nuong pate" which my fave, little part yet scrumptious. Pho is not any point lose simply the Vietnamese roll will be below expected. Staffs well speak inside English so conversation ain't an issue, don'tfeel shy to inquire further the ingredients because they attentive enough to response you anytime. Price wise considered the tad bit large for local, but because it nestled inside tourist spot so could be understandable, have sufficient cash in the event. Open air dining location is encircled by plants which sooth the appetite and in a position to enjoy moonlight while eating. Overall, a decent spot to crave particular delicacy from time to time in the town center.

Sao Nam is the greatest Vietnamese restaurant that I've had the fortune to go to. Their Hanoi chef gifts traditional and exotic meals from both North and South Vietnam. Each is perfectly executed, actually the much-maligned Rice Document Rolls, which are ready refreshing to orderas they must be ]not pre-ready and refrigerated, hence tasting; like plastic material]. Their star entree may be the Mangosteen and TIger Prawn Salad, although simple ones aren't to be skipped either. Perfect Springtime Rolls, Vietnamese design, are offered mint results in and lettuce so that you can roll in before dipping. Una Lott (thịt bò nướng lá lốt), this Vietnamese dish contains minced beef blended with garlic and shallots plus some basic spices, wrapped into crazy betel leaves (also referred to as piper-lolot results in), rolled up like cigars, and grilled over warm charcoal. here also, they are the very best version that i've actually tasted. If confused purchase the beginner plate, with a small amount of everything. The primary that is hard never to order is their exclusive Duck Breasts stewed in Tamarind, an incredible dish. Seafood in Dill is amazing but so solid in taste it's best just ordered to end up being shared. Vietnamese curries have become lighting on the chilli, therefore not the same as the Thai ones, nearly fragrant, rather than to be skipped. Every visit to KL, is right to Sao Nam for me personally.
