This is my kitchen. I am a couple of minutes walk away and will be having my dinner here whenever I image to finish work before they close. There's a reason why ib keep going back... I can't get bored of it, and it tastes great.Out of hundred of times I'm there, I might have experienced some sub-standard/ inconsistent taste, or service -- but I assure you, that's very rare.Highly recommending this udon place.

Really good Udon here. But I will come back just for the chicken karaage and the accompanying tangy dipping sauce. The crunchy chicken exterior with tender chicken meat inside, is just like how all fried chicken should be. The portion is huge. I left the place really full. They always refill your green tea, even though still half full. Hard to find good cheap eats nowadays. Selfishly happy that this hidden gem is still not widely known.

Hands down, value for money. Udon fairs really well in texture and consistent each time we paid a visit. Give the hot mentaiko butter udon a try if you're a sucker for mentaiko! Kakiages are a must too.Overall, a worthwhile visit. They're always packed out for lunch so I don't recommend visiting in groups of more than 4. Else be prepared to wait for a seat.

I came here twice. It's a place for a cheap and quick meal. There's refillable green tea. It tastes pretty normal to me. Service is good. Staff are polite and attentive. The place is small, dim and quite hot.

My first proper foray into the world of ramen was an expensive one. This was because most of the joints are tonkotsu ramen type. Actually, that didn't make much difference to me until now. I think the common ones available in Malaysia are tonkotsu, hakata and maybe kagoshima. Don't quote me on that though. Wait until I've tasted them all in Japan which is probably never. Udon is not quite ramen but both are Japanese noodle so... 😄
