The ambience is just amazing. You won't even feel the need to judge the food for the ambience. Brilliant place to enjoy a beer. Better than any rooftop bar or cafe and yet so humbling. This place and Sai Woo is a recommended place to be in. Cheers!

Awesome place. You'll usually see Sai Woo rake in the most number of customers in Jalan Alor at any given night and there's a very good reason for that. Their seafood is fairly priced and the rest of their menu is pretty cheap and generous too. They have a number of specialities but I gotta say it's their grilled stingray and beef satay that have made me come back here. Oh did I forget to mention I'm a frequent customer. Don't just take my word for it, try it. Ps. Their drinks aren't too bad either

I tried their curry laksa and for me the experience was not that amazing. At first try i was a bit doubtful if i can continue eating the soup. Slowly i was a able to accept the taste and was able to finish everything. Still a very good experience. Price is just right and still a must have if you visit Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

Being the diligent tourists that we are, we made sure we researched the best places to experience authentic Malay/Indo/Chinese food in Malaysia, our search lead us to the busy street of Jalan Alor. At first one would think of the place being a street market, it is only when you experience walking the street that its a street food market. We settled in Sai Woo which seemed to have all the cuisines were looking for. We order Char Kway Teow, Oyster Omelet and chicken satay. The Char Kway Tew was spicy but didnt contain the charred flavor youre looking for in it. It was nevertheless good though. The satay was perfect, it was grilled well with the fatty part gettin squeezed in the chicken meat. They oyster omelet was excellent, there was good contrast with the flavor of the fried egg and oyster.

Fried garlic prawn, it was tasteless, disappointed with this dish. The crab was ok, but reasonably priced.Sweet and sour chicken, this was good. Love it.Sambal kangkung belachan, portion was generous, but nothing outstanding.Overall nice dining experience, although drinks were over priced.

When clients, colleagues or superiors from overseas make a visit to KL, Jalan Alor is usually one of the first places to bring them to experience the local food scene. It sounds touristy, but you can’t deny the location is convenient due to its close proximity to the hotels in Bukit Bintang. It’s within walking distance and they can return to the comfort of their hotel room in minutes.

This place is located on the famous and busy street of Jalan Alor - the food street. It serves variety of foods and the service is quick. There are many similar restaurants on the same street but this one has a larger variety. Vegetarians would be disappointed though. Once can order varieties of meat but one must savor the fish and the sea food for which this street is famous. Beer is slightly costly in Malaysia but local brand Anchor is worth a try.

We were looking for a seafood restaurant alongside Alor street and happened to passby this restaurant. It has great variety of different choices: fish, shells, beef, noodles everything in very affordable prices. Food was great, quick service and no fuss! I really enjoyed the buzzing atmosphere of street, so alive! Should visit at least once if you’re in KL.

My boyfriend and his work colleague took us here. I think meh but I'm not big on Malaysian food. I've given a 4 because if you love Malaysian food, this is the spot to go. The downside is the street hawker disabled girls in the electric wheelchairs going up and down the street singing very loudly through their electronic speakers looking for a handout. Very off putting. Sai Woo has wonderful and attentive staff who always are there to provide a high level of service.
