Did not try the food downstairs but was here for some drinks and hangouts with friends upstairs. Place was very dark with barely any ventilation; can be quite suffocating with cigarettes from nearby tables. Argentinean red wine recommended was a little hard to swallow. Earl Gray Peach drink was quite good. The live-band that night was okay. Overall, more room for improvement.

Ok not the best steak I had before. Bookkeeper, captain, Staff Attitude of service is fine but they have quite a big issue on communication. The price I'm seeking at I prefer to have basic communication skills.

Nice casual fine dining restaurant.Tenderloin medium rare was made with perfection and love 😍 best steak ever! Lovely ambiance and environment. I find it a little too dim and too cool. Great service! Staff was really good. It's expensive but it's good.No pictures of food because it's so dark. I don't like using flash for my food

Food : Ordered a medium rare steak and it came exactly as i ordered; a rarity in malaysia as i always receive poorly cooked steaks. This was wonderful! Sides were roasted sweet taters and sauteed spinach. You cant really fuck up a bowl of spinach but you can the sweet taters. They were dry, tasteless, not even sweet(lol), and tasted as though they were prepared quite awhile ago. Wine is insanely overpriced but ohwell!Service: the Philippino waiter could not understand our questions on different cuts and was not well versed with the steaks available. Even the manager couldn't answer our steak questions. Communication failed in that sense but service was great! Checked on our food and didn't charge us for the failed taters. Would recommend for the steak!

My steak was the normal grass fed and honestly, for the price, you can get a better cooked steak somewhere else - eg: meatpoint. We also had the angus, which was also on the average side.I requested medium for the steak and it was just so-so. Not worth your money to come here. The steak was served with rocket salad (they put salt in the salad, i literally tasted ONLY salt in it - yucks) & garlic. I'd pay for only the ambience and the place as it's really a beautiful place to dine in. However, food wise.. meh.. Meatpoint @ TTDI is way better than Ril's. For the experience, go for it. They also do live bands upstairs during Fridays & Sat's at 10:30pm onwards. So that's a plus point. Food wise, so-so. It wasn't great nor good. Just average. I've tasted better steaks.
