This place was recommended by my sister and so happen I was searching for a brunch place in Bangsar. The moment my friend and I walked in, the smell of food hit me straight away, mainly because their kitchen is an open concept as well. We were greeted and seated immediately. Ambience: the place was set in a comfortable environment with ample seating place. But mostly catering 2-6 people seating. I personally felt the setting was sort of like a nonya style. Food: we ordered the fried southern basket and the brioche French toast. I truly enjoyed the fried southern basket. Not only were they generous in their portion but it tasted so good! The fried chicken tasted better than KFC and Texas. Potato hash cooked just right, poached eggs (you can choose your time type of eggs) done superbly well with the yolk oozing outwards. Also, they didnt forget salad! Even though it was a fried dish. The brioche French toast was fluffy and well cooked, you can choose your own toping and sauce. Drinks: I ordered a mocha and oh my... This mocha is delicious. It's very concentrated and rich with chocolate as well as coffee. The barista did a great job in this Overall: This place was a hidden gem to me, it's located on the 1st floor of BV2 (opposite Zara). I had mixed feelings at first because it was located in a shopping mall but after that first step into the cafe. Staff are attentive and friendly. Food and drinks were irresistible to my palate. I'll definitely be back for more.

We visited in the A.M and experienced their breakfast dishes are of a superior level of quality and standard. The Southern Fried Breakfast and Salmon Eggs Ben were delicious and fulfilling. I swooned and would DIE for the Brioche French Toast with vanilla ice cream and chocolate hazelnut praline ganache! At Nutmeg, rest assured you can satisfy most of your brunch cravings.

Best breakfast for dinner I've had in a while! The combination works and you have the freedom to choose what you like best. The homemade sour dough bread is just spectacular.

The breakfast here is great and huge portion. My salmon dish is fresh and scrambled eggs is delicious. Perfect with the crispy croissant!I don't really like how crowded the place is and how hard it is to get a spot during weekends. Service is great and they have nice dessert display tempting me all the time

Short menu but just everything you like. Creative dishes combining ingredients you don't see every day. Efficient service. Next time we will taste the cakes too.

Having passed by this place at least once a month, it was high time to do more than just looking in and wondering if the day would ever come to try their food. Caesar salad with southern fried chicken RM 32. This, my friend, is how you turn something healthy into a cheat meal. Doused with caesar dressing (mostly mayo) and topped with fried chicken, salad can be not just unhealthy but also no good for you. However, moderation is key.

Great place for brunch! Everything we had - eggs, juices, cake - was great! Highly recommend eggs benedict and also to finish off with one of the freshly baked cakes! Staff / Service also good.

I've always loved this place, the staff are so helpful and friendly, and all the food is delicious and filling. Best place to get chicken and waffles by the way.

From a vegetarian standpoint options for brunch are slightly limited but don't worry the types if cake make up for it. So if you have a sweet tooth like me you will love this place definitely, have already been three times for their awesome desserts and never have I left wanting for more. Surely try the desserts and also the food..
