Walk into a getaway lane of youthful Balinese-pump style ambience and English pop music to add to the rhythm. While extremely packed, boisterous, overcrowded and excessively lively on the weekends, weekday night carries a strange lull and slightly less attentive waiting staff. The food is brilliant. All not halal, demonstrated by the unsubtle use of babi and pig imagery as part of the restaurants decor. All the dishes I shared with 5 other members of my family were delicious; whether it be the signature bbq pork ribs, pork chop, mi goreng, indo nasi goreng, squid, fried seafood, pork salad, ayam gudeng (or whatever the 3rd dish on their main menu was called). On a less enthusiastic note, the mango mojito looked better than it tasted. I would discourage ordering the 2 dessert options at Naughty Nuri, unless you have discovered a unique fondness of having bacon even in your sweet desserts (you have the choice of chocolate cake or banana fritter. Yes, both options come with a side of vanilla ice cream. Imagine THAT with bacon!).

I was surprised at the exhibits at the entrance of the restaurant. Apparently, the restaurant specializes in pork dishes. I had an Indonesia special drink; Kedondong Asam Boi which turned out to be very fibrous. It is RM11 (about CAD3.35). The four of us shared three dishes. The portion is big and it’s more than enough for us to share.

Went there for lunch today and am now in a food induced coma. Outstanding ribs and beer alongside a few pork satays, Nasi Goreng and Mee Goreng. Naughty Nuri's is now on my have to visit list in KL. The ribs were succulent and just slid of the bone. A must do for any pork lover.
