I was the guest of my buddy and she recommended the eating place. I purchased thre Prawn and Mango beginner - tasteless prawns but mango has been OK. Then i ordered their edition of Seafood and Chips that was disgusting. My initial stop by at this restaurantand certainly my last.

Returned to Monte's following a long while. The area was practically empty save for just one table occupied by five diners. The service was prompt and friendly. Our waiter has been also quite proficient in the things in the menu. We ordered the Grilled Halibut and abraised Lamb Shank. Both arrived promptly in extra large plates. The demonstration was meant to make an impression on! My lamb shank had been excellent. It had, nevertheless, a touch too much sauce. My partner enjoyed her Halibut. For dessert, we chose Cream Caramel. We obtained a big serving of this dessert but with a twist...............it had been not 1 of the most common types. It was sufficient to talk about and that people did.

Celebrating Father's Day time, having supper here. After completed our dinner and having talk and drinking wines with my family users, the waitress arrived and have us to keep as some other clients are arriving. It is extremely ridiculous for such support. Restaurant proprietor, please trainyour workers nicely!

This is actually the restaurant that I will have brought my partner to celebrate her birthday and nice occasions and can miss this place since it was my last time going there yesterday and can not go there again. Food and provider as typical have beengreat. Will have like their grilled halibut. Been there for more after that good twenty years. The grilled halibut possess shrink in size through the years and the final visit was the final straw. It shrank therefore very much that I don't sensed like I've ordered a seafood dish, How big is the halibut items were just like the side meals, therefore i think its time and energy to move on and discover a better dinning spot to spend special times. Its an excellent pity and reduction but how to proceed as said time and energy to move on.

We visited celebrate a birthday celebration and booked a desk in advance. We had been ushered to an exclusive room after we arrived and we experienced it had been a lovely gesture. WHEN I had been to the restaurant the 30 days before, I needed my familyto flavor the food that i enjoyed previous. The winners had been the Mushroom Salad - comfortable, crispy bits of battered mushrooms atop a mattress of salad and a straightforward dressing. It had been delicious and large more than enough to share with a few people. The scallop beginner was also great. Do get a plate of the oxtail soup - an extremely 80's dish but delicious however. Two of the five mains we purchased stood out as obvious winners and they were the grilled lamb and the Seafood Potpourri with Turmeric sauce that was absolutely tasty! The waiter was quite pleasant and helpful as well.

My 2nd period visiting this cafe. Both times it really is super quiet. Question how they survive. This 2nd period around we ordered Poultry Ala King and Lamb Shank. Perfectly done. Had burgandy or merlot wine too. Food will be costly here. Service ok.

The final time I visited Monte's I was impressed by the warm and stylish decoration and tasty food, and inquired about potentially hosting a romantic (170 pax) wedding dinner dinner as of this establishment. Over the cell phone, we were guaranteed that this could possibly be catered toby the associate supervisor (Kanthan). We made a scheduled appointment to observe him but on your day of our conference we were dissatisfied by his lackluster mindset. He appeared unwilling to go over any information, or accommodate some of our requests, stating that when we wished to hold a marriage reception, it might be far better visit another establishment. We'd have valued if he previously been up front concerning this during our preliminary inquiry since it was an enormous waste of commitment. In a nutshell, poor PR, extremely disappointing.

Somehow never managed to get there myself despite the fact that my partner ate here 24 months back and said her spaghetti vongole was good. We started with fairly goo scallops. I had an improved than decent filet mignon with veg and mashed potato, my partner had verydelicious "juicy Parmesan prawns" and my child had the very best chicken nachos I've ever eaten (she did offer you!) (usually RM15, but was free of charge on an HSBC present). RM200 which includes a Carlsberg, so pretty Okay. Overall - happy and can definitely return.

Noticed something you wouldnt usually expect on the menus therefore i thought why not. First my partner had prawn chowder, that was nice, was included with buns and butter, We very enjoyed it. I however experienced a Waffle Burger :D . How shouldI explain the flavor, the beef pattie alone was properly done, I got mine moderate well, meaty but gentle, the way i love my burgers..the waffles really was nice, alone, together they were very difficult to descibe, I wouldnt say lousy since it wasnt, I wouldnt say delicious either because together it wasnt..the proper word will be mixed feelings. But I am making vacation there to hv waffles one of these brilliant days, theyre really pretty good.

One who took our reservation didn’t bother to inform us that Monte’s offers moved to the 4th flooring and now share a niche site with Ruyi Service abysmal - zero cutlery, no menus, zero napkins, desk semi laid for Chinese foods, waiters inside disarray (some spokeonly mandarin)! Following the 4th waiter, lastly one emerged by that appeared to know very well what she was carrying out! Sadly nothing beats our old Monte’s. Food seemed mostly exactly the same although we wouldn’t recommend the tendon pasta nor the charbroiled lamb. The previous had been tasteless and the latter as well dry. Not what it was previously ! We shall just reminisce on the memories of Monte’s. In no way again .....
