This is Mono Sushi per year back, however they recently changed it to Mono Espresso. That means forget about sushi! They nevertheless retained a japanese fusion cuisine menus with the brand new cafe menus which consists of espresso and deserts. I didn't have the coffee when i was there to possess dinner. I purchased the Unagi Olio and Poultry Katsu Rice. The Poultry Katsu was only actually average, the crumps had been soggy as though they just got it off the microwave. What actually got me had been the Unagi Olio. I in no way thought I'll see this type of dish, this proves anything can occur with a bit creativeness. A pasta dish prepared with japanese sauce and seasoning, topped with slices of unagi (eel) simply makes among the best fusion dish ever. These were generous with the unagi as well, taking into consideration the high price for this in sushi dining places. The area was pretty peaceful that evening, maybe due to the sudden differ from sushi to espresso? Nevertheless, I must say i recommend checking out the food here.

Mono Espresso, a terribly dull title, was Mono Sushi, furthermore another terribly dull title, but apparently, they work coffee now. Therefore, was the modification of concept sufficient for them? Yes. Yes certainly. Leaving their sushi lifestyle aside, they're now presently serving tip-top glasses of espresso, which includes their signature lattes, where its somewhat acidic taste is really a compliment to all or any of its pastries and desserts provided there, which are usually decidedly even more fruity than savory. Needless to say, they do present remnants of these sushi ventures, like poultry katsu rice along with other Japanese dishes, but actually, it's the espresso and pastries you ought to be trying in right here, not main classes or dishes that won't compliment their espresso. That being said, if you don't come at all, you will end up sorely dissatisfied for really missing out. You can believe me on that.

Real chill coffee home that avoids the most common bustling cafe tropes. Won't find screaming children here. The heavy wooden tables are beautiful and they're ideal for laptop-using clients. The warm chocolate (RM11) tastes much better than any I've had in every of KL!
