Latest Recipe is probably the most popular international buffet restaurant in KL because they are quite aggressive in their marketing. Not only they are listed in the Entertainer, they also run Groupon deals quite often. So if you are paying full price to eat here, you’re missing out on substantial savings. The normal price is RM138/pax but if you purchase a Groupon deal it’s only RM88/pax. The variety of food offered in the buffet is enormous featuring heaps of Asian and Western dishes including seafood on ice and sashimi as well. If you are a sashimi lover you’d be delighted that the quality of sashimi here is commendable for a non Japanese buffet. Sushi is decent too. The teppanyaki section is another reason to come, as it’s prepared upon order with fresh seafood such as succulent prawns and juicy scallops in a creamy butter sauce. We didn’t care much about the dim sum because it’s kinda awful compared to those you could find at a proper dim sum restaurant. Surprisingly, the Indian dishes were really well prepared and we found ourselves thoroughly enjoying the crab masala and fish curry. As for the Western dishes, they are alright I guess. To me, they taste pretty much similar in any buffets we have been to. Desserts wise, you will definitely be spoilt for choices considering they dedicated an entire section just for it. Whether it’s cakes, candies, desserts or cookies, they have it all and in plenty of varieties too. The ice cream which was dispensed from a machine had a watery texture so sadly it wasn’t enjoyable. I think a normal branded ice cream that comes in tubs taste even better. The selection of beverages are also somewhat a let down, especially the citrus infused water which had almost zero flavor.

I had the opportunity to dine at this fantastic restaurant during my recent trip to Malaysia. This place offers efficient service and excellent food! The presentation of the food was beautiful. Well done!

Le Meridien has been wowing and spoiling the diners with plenty of choices at Latest Recipe. Covering global cuisines from India and Italy to China and Japan, as well as Italy and Malaysian to Thailand and so much more, there is certainly a lot of choice at this spacious buffet restaurant. This time around featuring authentic Thai specialties with Thai chef from Phuket’s Le Meridien, their highlight will be showcase for one week, starting the 17th may 2017.

Breakfast fit for a king is the only way to describe the awesome spread that they serve on their breakfast buffet. Five different counters covering cuisine from different parts of the world, ample selection of beverages and a dessert counter to die for its sin city when it comes to your food. I can’t even choose the correct adjective to describe how the experience was eating at this restaurant.Cheers,

We are back again for another birthday party. As before, the service is excellent as usual, we even got better tables! Halimah promoted to us to register for SPG membership to which 2 of ua obligingly registered. A huge praise to Hafizah who recommend us her favourite tea - Paris! The best thing of course is the birthday surprise for our friend Deen - dessert & balloons... we thank you for the perfect food and service provided by Latest Recipe... for a detailed review on the food kindly refer to my previous review of the best buffet restaurant I know in KL. This is a great restaurant - we paid for a family escape package which included dinner and breakfast at the latest recipe! Both dinner & breakfast were fantastic! Quality & choice of food were great! Staff were very helpful and obliging - nothing was too much trouble! Dinner was a buffet and had everything from sashimi/sushi/fresh oysters/dim sum/curry/Chinese/asain/Indian and fabulous puddings and fresh fruit & not to forget the chocolate fountain! Breakfast also a buffet and again I didn’t want for anything but smoked salmon and on request it was promptly brought to me!I can not fault this restaurant & hope to return sometime soon

I tried out the buffet and the food was stupendous! Excellent! It was worth it especially with the wide selection of international food. But the dim sum was not to my liking. That's just for me. But everything else was good. They have a pasta station where they'll cook in front of you, roast beef and chicken. The roast chicken was very tender and juicy. The dessert bar was mouth watering! Food quality was muuah! Excellente! And the staff was helpful and spot on. You're not going to regret eating here at all. Perfect place for a celebration too

If you enjoy asiatic cusine ,this is the place.They have Indian, Japanese,Malay,Thai, Vietnamese cusines available.Western spread is also great,desserts are amazing(variety of choices).Veg options are limited,but if you eat non veg than you are at the right place.
