An extremely colourful and inviting eating place that's saved on Jalan Kamunting. It is best if you publication in advance because of MCO restrictions so that it can be tough to obtain a table if you simply walk in. It isn't very big aswell but thereis good ventilation if ventilation is really a concern of these pandemic times. The flavours of the meals were great. We'd the pork carinatas and guava glazed prawns tostadas to begin with, I especially cherished the prawns. The jerk poultry with mango relish had been delicious, the sauce could be very spicy so be skeptical! The food was just a little towards the warm aspect instead of hot, which I would prefer. With regards to pricing, it could be on the much less affordable side if that is your concern. Employees are friendly and offer helpful suggestions on what things to order. Overall, an extremely "instagramable" location that I'd probably just visit for special events.

I really love eating in Joloko. Personally i think very comfortable right now there because I understand the owners however the restaurant supervisor, Norman is quite kind if you ask me. He makes certain that I am looked after. I really benefit from the meals and the atmosphere of therestaurant not to mention the bar picture is amazing.

First-time visiting. Been skeptical concerning the food as the dining places seems empty. Made a decision to test it out for and surprisingly the employees informed the the cafe is quite fully booked. Kind good enough we've been seated shortly. Nice food, zero regrets. Must attempt andreal tasty: chili cheesecake, pork carnitas! Generally, the meals are good with great degree of service through the meals. The just set back has been that I didn't understand there's a time restriction and we've me pleasantly already been invited to depart when times up because of the next reservation. Therefore,my advise will be: always create a pre reservations. Note: you obtain discount on your own next visit according to the amount spent.

Ordered Pina Colada, took my very first sip, tasted such as water, hardly tasted any Coconut, may as well purchase water instead of paying RM35 because of this tasteless consume. Complained to the employees, they explained their ‘Formula’ is right and didn't even offer you to doa better work. Food is great but don’t expect worthwhile provider while paying a higher price tag

If you value passive-aggressive service, feel absolve to visit this place! As someone that worked in F&B picture before, I am aware how tiring employed in the picture is, plus some customers are usually ridiculous sometimes. However, this location hits different. I hardly understand why customerswere dealt with such as a chore in this location. Floor supervisor/waiter appeared unwilling to get our orders, and also pushed the job to some other waiter. I don't treatment what your situation is, if your visitors already called the orders, why the hell as long as they do the exact same to some other waiter that you particularly called over once you could've take action? Why waste everyone's period? You want to teach your waiter? Inform them to become more alert the next time, or don't bother coming over our desk to begin with and guideline the waiter over rather. Drinks were bland rather than right. Food was the thing saving this location, hence putting this is into "we can not have the very best of everything" lol. Try at your personal risk ~

Ate here simply because a couple of and re booked that evening ahead again with freinds seven days later. Loved the vibe/atmospher and the songs, staff were extremely attentative, polite and knowledgable, the drinks were excellent and the meals delicious. Highly recomended.

I cannot say enough concerning this treasure of a eating place. The lobster, lamp chops, jerk chicken, helpful personnel, cool environment were all so therefore amazing! The side bowls of spinach and pumpkin had been amazing. I felt so good fortune to remain at the amazing Stripes Hotelnext door, therefore i could eat here nearly every night. Also the specialty beverage and wine options were delightful. Usually do not miss this location if you are in KL!

Farewell lunch time for colleague here, since it is not no problem finding Caribbean food inside KL. Joloko is situated simply beside Woo Pin Seafood Head in Chow Package. Plenty of alcoholic beverages and cocktails available. Four folks had 2 mains + 3 side meals:1) Pork ribs 2) Jamaican jerk chicken 3) Crab and prawn ceviche 4) Jollof rice 5) Fried chicken tenders The pork ribs were fantastic, you will have to eat the ribs yourself. Ceviche has raw seafood, not my taste. The bill came around RM280, quite pricey for another sort of dining experience.

Heard a whole lot about Joloko since KL does not have several fusion Caribbean sites, and the vibe is obviously hip and taking place, with locals and expats, along with tourists. Yes, it really is pricey, but if you are via somewhere with an excellent exchange rate, it'sfine. Crab and prawn ceviche has been nice, regular. Pork ribs had been unavailable that time. Walnut hummus was great, a little dry, however the pomegranate assisted. Beef was nicely cooked - tasty. Chilli Cheesecake was Okay - excellent cheesecake, but didn't obtain the flavor of chilli at all. Note - there exists a 1.5hour time period limit for table chairs, after which you'll receive moved to the bar. Service was disappointed by the waiter - a pal had organised a birthday celebration for another buddy, and she asked to create the cake out while a shock. The waiter appeared as if he was pretty quickly, so despite 2 folks gesturing who the birthday celebration woman was, the cake had been put into front of another person and he dashed off. When my pal called him to complain, he blamed me as pointing at myself and complicated him, despite the fact that I pointed at another end of the desk. He continuing to argue back again that it wasn't his fault, in order that ruined the disposition for everyone. Probably they're understaffed, or possibly he was getting a negative night - but don't remove it on the customer, particularly when it's a special event. I think the overall concept and vibe of Joloko is great, that one waiter remaining things on a negative note, which sets us off returning any time in the future.
