Ippudo is pretty nice and pretty great for dinner snd lunch. However, it quite pricy because we can get more in other restaurant with the amount of money i’ve paid. Overall, i’ve a good experience here but i wish they can train their staff more than before. Will come back again to try their noodle :)

Ippudo’s Shiromaru Motoaji Tamago Ramen at 29MYR. The OG flavour. #Rating 4/10. Nothing disappoints more than mediocre broth. Picked the ‘hard’ ramen but it came out far from al dente, instead it was soft with a hint of mushy-ness. 3/10Soup was extremely mediocre. What was meant to be a thick and viscous broth was watery and somewhat bland. 3/10. Pork loin and belly were good but nothing to rave about. Fresh crushed garlic was the highlight but that’s not saying much when the star of the dish was such a disappointment. Ippudo Pork Bun at 9MYR was ok. Rating 4/10. The pork was soft and quite flavourful. The pork almost melted in my mouth which gave it a boost. The lettuce and mayo sauce that accompanied it semi-ruined the dish. It did the pork no justice and rendered the steamed bun bland and tasteless. It almost felt like a cheap McDonald’s combination of mayo and lettuce but I must admit, McDonald’s does it better. With 16% service charge and tax, we paid 43MYR in total. Worth it? Not at all.

What can i say ? Ippudo in Malaysia was have a different taste from Indonesia. One bowl are consists of noodle itself, bean sprouts, mushroom, slice of pork and egg. It tastes more fresh than salty. I thought it has been adjusted to Malaysia tongue.
