I visited Gavel at the suggestion of a pal as his buddy Paul was the chef and he previously been heading there and raving about any of it. He mentioned that his Beef Wellington has been apparently very good. Properly he lied, it had been not only great,it was outstanding!!! I really like good food which was probably among the top 5 foods I have ever endured and I experienced 3 helpings it had been sooooo great. He will a brunch every sunday but varies the menus. Unfortunately, he does not have a site or appear to inform folks of what he'll be cooking in one week to another. However, if it's anything just like the one I got, I am certain everything else is great and NOT Costly. The craft beers certainly are a little expensive for my flavor but if you need to get one of these different flavor, he's got about 50 available. Go, you will not regret it.

Ok people I understand this place will probably only obtain busier and busier !! Each week is really a differing joint(s) of meat Lamb then Beef is what I've had so far and will honestly say for the purchase price YUMMY !!! You'll forgetGravy Baby and the pretenders once you have tried Gavel. My just comments will be crispier roasties and browned off cauliflower cheese. Oh and obtain your purchase for desert because the popular dishes go rapidly. But seriously its an excellent little location and I could see just it getting a lot more popular and deservedly therefore..... Quality prevails.... !!!

We have been regular on weekend break roast here. Gavel excites us as everytime we go to for roast leg of Lamb, all of the sides and starters is definitely different. Won’t obtain bored for exactly the same roast. Sometime salmon quiche, sometime pesto pastry and tomato salad, sometime wholesalmon, sometime gentle egg tempura....... The main act continues to be the leg of lamb with Yorkshire puddings. On the bone to help keep succulent. There's more reason to drink right here. Luis Filipe wines is new on menus with fantastic promotion. Exact same cost range with Havana. The local ale has been removed. Only bottles accessible. Though, the tab provides been changed with IPA and craft draught.

Gavel is really a perfect place for food & drink, the welcoming pub-like really feel for friends for connecting. I liked the craft beer choice and the menus with from lite-snacks to full lunch time/dinner meals.

We have been here another time now. We wished to provide it another go because the meat the 1st time for the burger wasn't great, rather as well fatty which crumbled as you ate. We wished to come again in the event wejust had a negative one off encounter and the entire reviews for the eating place are pretty positive. We visited tonight and I ordered the pint of IPA. My beer arrives 3/4 beer and 1/4 head. I get back to the bar and have for 'a pint' of beer with a typical 1 inch mind. The barman viewed me like I has been insane for requesting what I payed for (which wasn't inexpensive for a pint in Malaysia). The wait personnel comes home with my beer and begins to lecture me incorrectly on what beer works. Simply rude and unnecessary at all times. Whether or not he disagrees, I'd think you'll treat a person better when i was just requesting what I covered. Unfortunately the meals was no better. Meats was how it had been last time. I acquired a steak sandwich that was extremely fatty with a significant amount of sauce where you couldn't identify what meats it had been. Shepherds pie was exactly the same. Perhaps it is about the Sunday roasts, which we've yet to experience so when most of the reviews suggest have become positive. The vibe had been good generally but I believe this is our last visit.

I ordered the roast beef supper for my children (delivery) yesterday. This is the third time we'd ordered food for shipping. The initial roast (beef) supper was excellent. The next (chicken) was also excellent but, unfortunately, yesterday's encounter was a genuine disappointment. WhilstI fully be prepared to reheat delivered meals, it was stone cool and and certainly been left seated for much too long. Moreover, the beef was hard and largely inedible. Probably this is a 'one-off' but, predicated on this experience, I'll jot become returning, nor would I encourage others to take action. The meals was also past due for delivery.

I’ve been right here so often since they opened, therefore i thought it was time I wrote an assessment following our newest visit tonite. The craft beer choice is superb, specially the wide range of canned beers from all over the world. Costs arecompetitive too and just a little cheaper than almost every other craft beer pubs in the city. The meals is consistently excellent. Ready and super tasty. Helpful and attentive staff. Totally free WiFi. Really worth the short stroll from the town centre ahead here.

Superb good within this wee concealed Gem. They perform Sunday roast which are perfect. Great staff and just 5 min within taxi from Petronas Towers . Be sure you go ,you won't be disappointed

Hidden gems within jalan kamunting. The craft beer is usually wonderful and fragrant. Fruity and flavor fresh. Chilling. The meals is nice and warm. Atmosphere is cozy and comfy. Very relaxing lunch time and chilling location with friend. Really worth and should try out if visited jalan kamunting.
