Today,my partner, mother-in-law & I visited this cafe with the mindset this famous Dindigul Thalapakathi Briyani from India provides us with outstanding flavor of the briyani loved by a lot of. However, we were dissatisfied with the models of briyani offered to us. Although thereare some positives which can be extracted from the restaurant, the meals put an enormous sad encounter on us. Positive: 1) Comfortable sitting region. 2) Nice ambience. 3) Quick & efficient provider by the staffs. 4) Poultry & mutton were cooked well & these were soft to end up being eaten. Negatives: 1) The briyani had not been made with the most common briyani rice. It had been cooked with normal whitened rice which didn't perform any favour in replicating the initial briyani taste. 2) My mother-in-regulation ordered Paneer Briyani while she was vegetarian nowadays. We had been expecting paneer blended with the briyani. To your disappointment, the briyani offered without the paneer. To help make the foods taste even worse, the briyani tasted like vegetarian fried rice. Also the gravy didn't have any paneer. 3) The beverages were just okay. The masala tea didn't taste that properly as we couldn't have the masala flavor. The lovely lime soda had not been that tasty as well. I could only have the sour flavor of the lime. 4) The cost of the meals there is expensive. I am aware that the restaurant is usually opposite of KL Sentral however the cost of briyani is easy too much. The Chicken Briyani expenses RM 19.90 & the Mutton Briyani costs RM 21.90. I don't brain paying that significantly if the grade of the meals is tolerable. The purchase price doesn't justify the standard of the meals at all. Overall,it was great to sit & eat however the quality of the meals need to be enhanced to attract more clients. I am hoping I'll get to like a better experience later on. I'm not really degrading the Dindigul Thalapakathi Briyani eating place but simply giving my humble viewpoint to aid the restaurant to become a better one.

Overrated. They billed us a supplementary dish which we didn't order so when we asked about any of it, they didn't also apologize. The cashier had been very rude. They just have one man to consider orders and he could be super slow.

This weekend we were invited by out friends Sudha and Madhav to experiance a Restaurant that boasts among the best tasting briyani's in Klang Valley - we weren't disappointed. The restaurant comes with an interesting title : Dindigul Thalappakatti - Dindigul may be the nameof the city in tamil Nadu where in fact the eating place originated ; Thalappakatti in Tamil indicates "tying the turban to the top". I googled for cafe reviews before going and had been flooded with testimonials poles apart within their compliment of the eating place - from the very best briyani around to "old meals reheated - nasi goreng with older chicken items !!". The review articles either praised the employees ++ or declared that it had been difficult to catch the attention of the waiters. This is our experience : the employees were very effective and attentive. Foods were served quite quick aside from dessert - Gulab Jamun which required a long time ahead but with Sudha's goading, it had been served warm and nice. The briyani was superb ; the chicken parts were large, well prepared, tender and the meats simply fell off the bone. I liked the mutton ribs and the naan. The gulab jamun has been among the best I have consumed in Klang Valley. Overall a fantastic evening, wonderful company, excellent food and program - we intend to visit once again tonight if our girl is absolve to accompany us for a delicacy !.
