Upon arriving, you will be greeted with their friendly staff and being usher to your table if you do have a reservation. It is indeed a spacious place with comfortable seating, nice background music and a perfect place for a great date. Its a 2 page menu and most of the item are pretty straight forward. If you are unsure what to choose, chose the one on their recommended list which is with a little umbrella icon as I can assure you wont disappoint.

At RM68, the 220g New South Wales Ribeye is quite value for money considering the restaurant’s setting. The steaks here already comes with a side dish of your choice (choose from 8) and one free sauce (choose from 6) I requested my steak to be medium rare but it was slightly overcooked so the centre was fully pink, hence tasted a bit chewy. Other than that minor issue, it was enjoyable and I really liked the morel mushroom sauce.

We were the only customers on a Sunday evening (until some others showed up about 8pm) but the staff still needed 20 minutes to bring a beer and disappeared for long periods. But the food (we had steaks, fish, pastas) seemed a cut above the norm for western hotel food and reasonably priced. There is an outdoor deck with views over the spectacular Hyatt pool but it's more of a bar area and is usually full of smokers.

My mum and I both agreed that this was one of the best experiences we have had in a restaurant EVER! We made a reservation because we didn't know how busy it would be, but we needn't have worried because we had the dining room to ourselves! However, since it was a celebration dinner, the staff had decorated our table with rose petals, which was beautiful. The staff were very attentive and we didn't have to lift a finger. We both ordered the cod with pumpkin seed crust, fennel puree, mushrooms, sugar snap peas and tomatoes. It was absolutely beautiful. The fish fell off the fillet so easily, the crust was beautiful and crunchy, as were the peas, and the mushroom chutney really complimented the flavour of the fish. It was the best fish we've ever eaten.We intend to stay at the Impiana again next time we are in KL and we will definitely be paying Cedar another visit.

Hotel breakfast with the mandatory egg station. Bumbling staff, certain items running out of stock, rock hard butter. Just those little annoyances.

Nice ambiance and environment. Food is normal. Service is not bad. But handling the situation in a poor way. Foreign material found on the plate and blamed by the clothing. Ask for us do we need a new preparations or reheating our steaks. Not done professionally for a fine dining restaurant. Quite disappointed.

The ambience is great for a quiet and private dinner.Diners have their privacy,with beuatiful KL skyline view at night.Friendly hosts and food is good too!Ordered the NSW Ribeye and my husband had their BBQ beef ribs which was juicy and succulent!Finished off our dinner with their molten cake and it was really a sweet ending.Will definitely go again if we want to have a quiet romantic dinner.

Cedar on 15 recommends that the Wagyu beef is cooked in the purest and natural form which is on Himalayan Rock Salt in order to enjoy the freshness. The Himalayan Rock Salt slabs are permanently heated in the oven. This method of cooking will lower blood pressure as no cooking oil is used. It is recommended that the Wagyu Beef is placed on the rock salt slab for five minutes. The meat will absorb more saltiness if left longer on the rock salt slab.

Dining could not be more pleasant when you can find a comfortable place with great food and ambiance. I would say, Cedar on 15 that open its door few months back after its refurbishment would be a hidden gem around KLCC area with its quality of food and price tag certainly worth to pay a visit.
