Nearby the Batu Caves, a restaurant well worth exploring may be the Canton Kitchen, where we went for lunch following our stop by at the Batu Caves. The meals is sumptuous, although menu is limited.

Bumped into this cafe after going to Batu Cave and all of us loved the lunch! I specifically loved the clamp soup, cooked with ginger and Chinese wines. The clams are new and the soup is indeed flavourful with the sweetness of the clams and a hint ofspiciness from the ginger and wines. The Guangxi style braised pork (with yam) is tender and you will taste the flavour of the yam with each bite. It isn't too salty too. The Assam prawn and cuttlefish blended well with the tomato, ladies fingers and four-angled beans. It really is good but will be much better if a bit more spicy. The French bean with roast pork is crunchy and cooked simply nice, but a touch too oily. We also ordered fruit drinks and beer. We spent RM 170 including service charge. I would go back to this restaurant when We go to Batu Cave next.

Clear spacious restaurant with great touch of older antique display of the 60s to 80s. Usually the dish was tasty, food were clean and vegetables were organic. We just like the steamed assam seafood, braised pork meats and fried lala. There are several even more to pickfrom the menus. On another aspect of the eating place, there exists a corner offering many local items like biscuits and snack foods. Good restaurant to create visitors from various other country to taste our regional Chinese food. Serving period were quick and the personnel are friendly and useful too.
