After being in Shanghai for more than a week, landed in Kuala Lumpur and was longing for Indian food. website recommended Bombay palace and it was a 1 km walk from my hotel. Arrived on time for lunch and since I wanted to have everything, ordered a meat (non-veg) thali. One of the best thali I have ever had. It had prawns, chicken, mutton apart from a good spread of vegetarian stuff, namely, palak paneer, dal. All items tasted good. Service and ambience was equally good. Strongly recommend. Will visit again for sure, not sure when.

Have been to WTF, Spice Garden and Annalakshami in KLWithout any doubt, Bombay Palace is the worst choice one can make for Indian FoodI was there yesterday (17th Sep 2018) with few friendsI believe only 30% of the tables were occupied, so we assumed that the service would be promptDespite servers being around, our order was taken after 15 minutes. The Server noted our order in his memory and seemed lost when we asked him to repeat it. Our order was 2 Panner, 1 Dal, 1 Mint Paratha, 1 Garlic Naan, 1 Kashmiri Nan and 1 Laccha Paratha whihc the server could barely repeat after correcting him twice (of course he had no notepad or tab). After waiting for good 20 - 25 minutes, the food arrived and the mess started. They got us 2 Laccha Paratha instead of one, Kashmiri Naan was missed and Garlic Naan was cold. We returned the order and asked for everything hot. After waiting for another 20 minutes, the food arrived again. Kashmiri Nan was missing again. However, we started the dinner. All of us were very hungry when we took the first bite, it was bland. Salt was missing in Dal and Masala in Panner Sabzi was uncooked. When we told the server that there is no salt in the dal, he suggested us to use the Table Salt. As we were hungry and super tired, we decided to gulp the food, pay and leave. Will never visit this place again and will also advise everyone NOT to waste their time and money at Bombay Palace
