We stopped by for lunch time here, once we were drawn to the term "Salai", this means "smoked meats" in cases like this. Its mixture with beriani doesnt actually make sense if you ask me, but I had been expecting a dish of smoked duck, therefore was my partner..Looking through the menus on the walls, they do possess "itik salai masak lemak cili api", which had me concerned...Cili api or even cili padi identifies the hottest and probably the most spicy sort of chili, and is often cooked with the smoked duck..Luckily for me personally, the sambal was served individually and the gravy only had not been so spicy...so that it was very easy on my tummy...and the taste had not been bad...My just complaint was that, they produced me have my very own tray with my orders, eventhough there have been not so many clients at the restaurant..Imagine if I accidently dropped the heavy tray? What sort of scene would which have created??
