Authentic Sarawak Laksa and kolo mee. My 8 year old boy gobbled up the laksa very quickly as the 14 year older asked for another plate of kolo mee! And we returned another morning - Yes the very next day and theboys ordered a similar thing and still tidy up the bowls very quickly Supply the pumpkin barley a go. It includes a unique flavor. A twist to the most common barley drink Auntie Christina, she actually is the welcoming and friendly woman and always making certain everybody gets their purchase on time. Looks like that is likely to be our weekend break breakfast place !

We loved the Sarawak laksa and kolo mie when I actually visited Kuching a couple of years ago. THEREFORE I was happy whenever a buddy recommended this invest PJ. It is a simple, clear, no-frills cafe with a menus limited to just a couple Sarawak classics. Thelaksa had been particularly good. If you are lucky, you'll also reach satisfy Aunty Christina herself.

Aunty Christina's sarawak laksa has moved to the nearby restaurant called Restaurant Seapark. She's a stall there. It really is still so delicious! Nevertheless, you do possess to await your order.

Emerged here for breakfast the Mon soon after CNY and the area was not crowded from all. The Sarawak laksa appeared great but tasted alright, the prawns didn't taste new and the broth had been probably much better at Alexis in Bangsar. The true star forme has been the kolo mee that was absolutely tasty. Would come back simply for that alone.

The soup of the laksa really was good. Experienced a hint of salted seafood to create out the taste. Among the best I tasted. Nevertheless, I really do find it a little pricey for restaurant fare. I took the huge bowl at RM10 andhad 3 prawns. That has been disappointing. The prawns had been relatively small, unseasoned rather than refreshing. The soup was very much either but probably they don't desire to waste as not really everyone beverages the laksa. The meats lobak was also expensive. A few bits of thinly sliced lobak for RM8. Indicate to provide it a miss. Best for an initial try but might not brave the car parking and seating challenges simply for it.
