Craving for meat and don't know where to get your craving fixed? Try Anne Elizabeth at Cheras! It is one of the best restaurants for carnivores!. Hubby brought me here for dinner after a long day at Sunway Lagoon. It was my first time here and I found it share-worthy, thus decided to write a blog post about it.

Pork lovers, rejoice! The array of choices had me standing, deciding on what to have. In the end, i settled for the signature pork belly, meatball and purple coleslaw. The signature pork belly was yum! Well marinated, charred and decent portion. The meatball was delicious too- meaty as it should be with enough taste. The coleslaw was a good deviation from the heaty meats. Worth a visit (or revisits). Service was friendly. It was my first time and they explained how to order.

Very cozy and nice environment to dine in. Service is still top notch even though there is a crowd during the weekend. Clearly shows the staff there are well trained to handle huge crowd and picky diners.On to the selection of meats. You'll be spoilt with the wide choices of different cuts of pork frm hams, bacons, sausages, pork shoulder, belly, ribs and so much more. I really recommend getting your hands on those Iberico pork steaks as they are just done magnificently. Go for medium well on those, juicy tender right amount of salt and pepper with juices lingering in your mouth packed with flavour you expect it to be.The pancetta is definitely worth a shoutout if you are up for some different style of bacon as it is an Italian bacon using pork belly. Salty, smokey and really tender melt in your mouth texture.One side note and personal opinion, just skip the signature pork belly if they ever recommend you. Reason is that you are basically tasting char siew where you can get at mediocre hawker stalls. Meat was too tough and very hard to cut and having sore hands after cutting. You can find better tasting char siew elsewhere in Pudu and some other places. Just skip this, it really just taste like char siew because of the marinade they put on their pork belly strip.Overall, a really good place to dine at and meat portions are good and up for a very reasonable pricing. Will definitely be back for more of their other cuts of pork and beef. Highly recommend checking out this place.
