Anjo is really a relatively new great dining restaurant inside China Town that i visited visit with my partner for the anniversary. First impact was good, attentive personnel to us upstairs to a good and comfy bar for a cocktail that was creative and wellput jointly. Then we shifted to the cafe with can be an open kitchen style with 16 seats together a bar-style desk. Elegant, modern however, not stiff. we had been the only real customers on the night time and enjoyed the entire attention of the employees. We'd to pre-choose the arranged menu and we proceeded to go for 5 courses including the amuse bouche and the palate cleanser. Therefore in fact it had been a 3 course menus. I proceeded to go for the beef tartare that was actually 3 bites and my partner acquired the scallop. While both had been prepared flawlessly and tasted excellent I started to depend on the bread to obtain me during the night. I had been also disappointed to note that the individual, lonely little scallop on my wife's plate commanded a RM60 surcharge. Main training course was a small little bit of seabass or the tenderloin that was certainly not a lot more than 100g which came once again at a RM100 surcharge. Once again the meals was very tasteful however the vegetables with the seafood were a little overpowering and under prepared and the meats came without the carbs so more loaf of bread was needed. Dessert has been a merengue with berries. Properly the "merengue" had been smeared from the plate with actually 3 berries, lower in halves, onto it and you may have easily put the complete dessert using one spoon. So overall a fascinating dining experience with fine but hardly any food at a cost much like Michelin starred London dining places.
