So I was sure that Malay food isn't really made for my palate (I am an Indian who travelled to Malaysia) and I came here for a dinner just because it was few steps away from my hotel. The restaurant is well placed just near the KL Sentral train station and is most of the times pretty packed. I went and could see that this is not the place where servers would be paying much attention to you so you have to take the charge and decide what to eat on your own. I could really not understand much of the dishes written on the menu.I stood up, walked to the counter where a server was preparing the thali with 5-6 chicken/mutton/beef dishes kept in front of him. I chose the mutton dish with the rice (Nasi Campur). He put it on the plate and took it back on my table. The mutton was nicely cooked and it was after pretty long that I ate properly here in KL. It is a very economical place, quite affordable for the tourists.

My first trip to KL I was immediately introduced to Nasi Kandar. As a non-indian food fan, I was afraid that I'd get nauseous while eating, but I was wrong. It wasn't as heavy as typical indian curry and I didn't smell any strong spices coming out from the food (which is a total plus for me). Their spice chicken is a MUST TRY! It was so good that i'd come back just for that (literally just for that though). For me, everything else's was just okay. They served US size portion which also a good bargain for the price.
