From my encounter Welcome Seafood Restaurant may be the largest seafood eating place you could find in Asia City area in Kota Kinabalu city center, apart from Todak Waterfront seafood stalls and Sinsuran Night Market near Le Meridian Hotel. Food served nicely in great timing. I didnot wait around miss my order arrive. Best time to click here is at morning around 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM because the restaurant isn't so crowded. In the event that you visit this cafe at evening and nighttime between 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM the restaurant will undoubtedly be very crowded with eating in customers.

SEAFOOD GALORE You can not eat seafood when inside Sabah? A land well-known for its new seafood, I vividly understand that I purchased one coral grouper aka 七星班 cheaply in 2005 within my virgin visit to ascend Mount Kinabalu. Right now the current presence of theChinese and Korean experienced increased the price considerably to given how well-known KK would be to them. Now many will in actuality tell you that restaurant is really a tourist trap ie. just tourists will consume there; but 1) they need to have already been doing something to keep people returning, and 2) I'm regarded as a tourist in KK as well... So... We took taxi from our resort to the busy cafe. Sure enough, the area was packed actually on a weekday. Several tables of Koreans and Chinese - you can recognise the vocabulary and slang - chatting happily while consuming soju bomb and beer. I rapidly made my solution to the drinking water tanks where the refreshing seafoods were shown - lobsters, crabs, prawns, clams, ocean snails, seafood - with the costs written on the table. ◾Steamed flower crabs - among our final dishes actually, however the mood was great and everyone could even now eat so I purchased. Sweeter flesh but smaller sized compared to the regular mud-crab, we devoured the crustaceans gradually while sipping beer. ◾Grilled mud crab - clean and fleshy... It's cheaper to consume here than KL. ◾Salted egg yolk mud crab - wanted something nice & savoury, We ordered this... Gotta like the way the salted egg yolk protected every in . of the crab. ◾Grilled tiger prawns - it is possible to ordered by pieces because they would weighed prior to cooking for you. ◾Grilled squid - the easiest method to taste the initial sweetness of the seafood. ◾Ginger & springtime onion clams - plump & juicy clams instead of the puny types we'd normally arrive here. ◾Fried seafood noodle - the youngsters choice because they didn't want seafood. ◾Fried meehoon - filled with the sweetness of the seafood. ◾Customary bowl of vegetable - as though it did its work to lessen the guilt 😂 Frankly we had a lot more than we ought to that evening, ultimately over-stuffed the tummy but simply no regret at all...
