We visited Tree Monk around 4:30pm on a Sunday night time. Only three some other tables had been occupied, and the area is fairly spacious and comfy. The backdrop music wasn't too noisy, and another customers weren't rowdy, therefore the ambience really was nice. We orderedtwo filtered espresso, Konga (Ethiopian) and Tarrazu (Costa Rica), RM12 each. 200ml of espresso is served, the product quality is good, general good value. They location the glass ugly on the carafe to fully capture the steam from the espresso, in order that we can benefit from the aroma from the espresso before enjoying the flavor. We also ordered the croissant (RM6), which we think isn't buttery enough. Strongly suggested for the filtered coffee.

Staff is quite attentive and barista good trained. They even ready a set white for us though it had not been on the menu. Excellent coffee and comfortable location for afternoon speak to friends.

quite spacious and comfy cafe nestled inside the not-so-busy section of Kota Kinabalu. Had been very amazed by the counter and the screen of pastries and breads. an extremely warm and funny guy is incharge of using orders and obligations at the counter, instantly puts usall relaxed. free drinking water can be acquired(self service). really comfy sofas, ideal for business meetings, they will have larger seating locations for friends to hold out. their cakes are usually so worth the amount of money! the portions have become generous and yummy! very content with this visit. will undoubtedly be back again!

I have already been here several times for foods and espresso as it’s the only real coffee place within jogging distance from where We live. Even though food and pastry choices are not way too many, what they offer is good. The espresso is nice as well. Theonly thing that results in something to be preferred is the service. Even though service team somewhat grin, it does not arrive through as real and there is absolutely no warmth. I’d think it’s great if this is improved - become more genuine please.

The staff are passionate about coffee! We visited this cafe four periods during our stay static in KK because we loved the espresso here. Definitely pricey for local specifications but it's tough to obtain a good glass of cappucino in KK - confidence us, we've tried.Apart from cappucino (actually it had been similar to flat white because they use much less foam in order to create splendid latte artwork), these were able to create a legit ristretto! Thumbs up! Food selection was little.. just adhere to the espresso and you also won't go wrong!
