I don't know the way the recent reviewers were impressed, they need to have quickly pleasable tastebuds, or even the cook was aside on our night! We were in a big team 24, and all were disappointed. Bland bland bland. The "soup" contains carrot cabbage andcauliflower in warm water with no seasoning. All dishes lacked flavour.

Friendly welcome from attentive staff with excellent English. Food was tasty, a large selection of choices to select from - I proceeded to go for the butter prawns which I'd highly reccomend. Refreshing juices were very excellent and a nice nearby tea and desert to complete. Fantasticvalue too.

Returned to KK within February 2020. We ate here three times and found the meals, service and affordability as was our go to in 2018. That is probably my preferred Malaysian cafe in KK.

I needed rendang and my resort recommended Sri Malaka. The rendang was delicious and authentic. The program was fast, plus they server was fine to suggest and describe some of the beverages that I was not really acquainted with. The medium part of rendang with rice wasadequate as meals for 1 person, also it wasn't as well spicy although it definitely had some heat since it should. Only problem had been that there are many large tables for large family groups (needlessly to say here), and when your timing is poor, you may have to wait quite a long time to order and obtain your meal. Overall excellent and specifically what I needed that night.

Very mediocre meals if weighed against cheaper eateries around. We purchased a beef rendang that was extremely chewy and the rendang sauce quite bland. We furthermore ordered sambal squid that was a bit much better but the sauce similarly bland. Overall I adviseagainst selecting this place

Staff were very useful and polite. Reasonable selection of food. Dishes attained our table at differing times meaning some individuals were kept waiting. Foods has been ok but nothing at all special compared to other areas we ate at in Kota Kinabalu.
