Oh!Som Cafe is among the hidden gems for foods fans in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It could appear to be your average community hipster eating place, but Oh!Som is not! When I first found KK, I was desperate for good food to consume somy buddy brought me right here. I was instantly greeted by the helpful proprietor of the joint and instantly I had been awed by the interesting cozy style of the area. The tables and chair are mostly DIYs (a bit uncomfortable for a large man like me) and the wall space are decorated with songs memorabilia.The restaurant was filling but we got a table, it had been about 7.30pm. We ordered seafood platers contain crab, prawn, squid, mussel and fresh salads served with rice. FIY, they don't really use plates only a brown wrapping document to consume in just like fork out but rather they pouring out all of the food onto the desk, they put it properly into a big conventional trey or we contact it tampi. The best was butter cheese prawn and kam hiong squid. The butter cheese prawn has been creamy buttery and slaty goodness and the kam hiong had been to die for. An assortment of spicy curry, lovely and sour. We simply made the error of buying a medium-size plater for four to six 6 pax assuming probably plater for 2 2-3 3 isn't enough. Well it had been a lot we need to tapau a few of it. Don’t let appearances fool you-the decor might be a small bit cheesy, however the meals are fantastic. This location is ideal for groups or perhaps a casual date night.
