We went to the brand new Gaya Seafood Restaurant (close to Kota Kinabalu) for my mother-in-law's birthday on the warm Thursday evening in-may 2017. The restaurant isn't in downtown KK however in the nearby city of Inanam - no more than a 15 minutes travel eastfrom the KK CBD. We produced a reservation a couple of days previous although I don't believe reservations are required if you don't want the AC choice inside. It's definitely not a 'flash' eating place so far as looks move, even more a nice, typical regional establishment - but what will feature may be the quality of the new seafood - live and right to the table. There have been about 20 inside our team and we had been seated in the airconditioned interior area which was comfy. The seafood was superb and some of the greatest I've acquired in KK. The very best seafood dish had been the neighborhood 'escargot' locally referred to as 'Gong Gong' shells or conch shells. My first-time to experience them plus they had been DELICIOUS! We ordered 3 huge plates of these they were So excellent.

A little definately not town since it is close to Inanam but near sufficiently to take pleasure from fresh seafood. Affordable. Taste yummy quite often. They have even yam baskets there and you also need not prebook for that. They will have a small atmosphere conditionedroom that matches about 10 tables but an enormous open area (with roofing) outside. Easy car parking for early diners.

had dinner twice within this restaurant. employees that offered us can suggest hottest dish. wet butter crabs not really that nice. it's dried out. i really like spicy squid. my hubby love the dark pepper beef. we'd 5 dishes-crabs, squids, beef, vege, seaweed soup (little nmedium portion) and just cost us RM112. that is cheap for me.

Seafood is great but way too many cats and incredibly disturbing. Wish that the dog owner will perform something about it

I discover that the restaurant assist nice food. It attracts our need but you'll find nothing unusual. Service is usual. Yet another selection for a Chinese seafood cafe.

We ate at the brand new Gaya Seafood eating place at Plaza Shell (Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman) rather than the main one at Wisma Lucy. Refreshing seafood that has been tasty and plentiful. Personal rooms for groups.

We'd 3 tables for lunch time and were the only real customers. The steamed seafood was bland.. sauce appears watered down, insufficient ginger and springtime onions at the top. FIsh has been very fresh though. Their signature TauFu dish - give it a miss.. not that good. All of those other meal was fine. Would I are available here again ? - most likely not as am certain you can find better seafood eateries. Price was reasonable. Got the impression that is even more a tourist venue... therefore quiet with the herpes virus scare.

The meals was good. Services was very fast. Price is sensible. Overall was great. I'd give 5 superstar for food and provider.
