This restaurant has been operated by second generation. They're charging high cost with lesser levels of foods today. Poorer food qualities as well. You will get chilli crabs everywhere in the city nowadays with around 15% cheaper thsn this rip-off Luyang cafe. This restaurant, they'll not offer you GST receipt in the event that you don require it. I'll never recommend this eating place to any Vacationers as due to bad attitude, poor qualities, no-more-valued-for-money now

The food quality went downhill massively because the final time I was here about ten years ago. I noticed that the valuable owner sold their company to a fresh owner. Anyway, all meals had not been up to the prior standard including their superstar dish whichis their crab dish (attempted two flavours). Any restaurant could have been better. Costs on the bigger side. In addition, we were billed for the more costly female crab despite the fact that we ordered the man crab. Only realised whenever we left once we were in a rush. Will certainly NOT return.

Liked the flavorful kam heong crabs. Price us RM 45 for 1 kg (about 3 crabs) Minced garlic steamed clam had been RM 25 per plate But don't expect anyplace near four or five 5 star service. It is a busy and instead short-handed restaurant.

Among my favourites whenever am house. Unassuming venue, friendly provider and OMG! The meals is consistently tasty (sadaps as sabahans state it!). My in history favourite dishes will be the egg omelette with charsiu (BBQ pork) which includes that comforting, do-it-yourself look n taste;and also the one and only the “Sabah veg” fried with egg. This resto can be well known because of its crabs - new n Super delicious which comes in a number of flavours... so, roll-up your sleeves n dig best in! Oh... get some good icy cool beer to wash everything down as well hey 😉bliss!

This was an excellent reliable local food restaurant. Yesterday evening,it was extremely disappointing. The crab has been over cooked, the veggie had plenty of oil and another dishes were not when i remembered. Won't return.

Excellent seafood as of this extremely popular Chinese restaurant inside Kota Kinabalu. Costs are reasonable and portions huge and tasty.

Very clean seafood, deliciously prepared rather than too expensive. Make sure to come earlier as it will get crowded during supper. Staff are helpful and efficient, excellent dining experience.

Food was average. Nothing at all to shout about. It’s pretty good, however, not great either. We asked the waitress that which was the “must attempt” meals? Besides crab, her response to the rest was “just order everything you like”, not very much help to us thinking what topick between the variety of dishes.

Not satisfied merely to eat seafood for just one time, We contacted Mirina and she pointed me on to New Luyang Eating place, a brief drive from city center which is furthermore her favourite seafood eating place. A corner sho We arrived earlier around 6pm++ perfect beforethe dinner crowds began to trickle inside. Everything was composed on the whiteboard hanging on the wall structure in addition to in the menus for simpler ordering. Our focus on - CRABS!!! ◾HIGHLIGHT - feminine roe mud crab!! Picture as soon as I read "women roe crab" on the menus - I went bonkers!! You don't need to consult with the others if they want or not really.. I instantly understood that everyone would buy into the choice. No extravagant cooking style when i would like to taste the initial sweetness of the roe, hence we chosen grilled design. 6 crabs filled with artery clogging things later, I could find smiles on everyone's faces. ◾omelette - this is for the youngsters to they don't really like seafood.. seafood limited to adults.. period! ◾butter prawns with egg floss - the youngsters whacked the lovely & savoury buttery egg floss as the beautifully cooked fresh prawns were still left to us. ◾steamed clams along with garlic sauce - for reasons uknown, I really like this dish and believed that the garlicky sauce had been done just right also to my liking. ◾butter milk chicken - the youngsters alternative too... We were as well active with the crabs & prawns. ◾2 plates of veggies - Sabah crazy ferns and Cekur Manis. ◾A plate of watercress soup - Compared to the a lot more commercialised Welcome Seafood, this particular restaurant feels similar to those neighbourhood spot - less crowded and much more affordable price-sensible. New Luyang will undoubtedly be in my own permanent list to consume when I head to KK.
