After being in Kota Bharu 18years ago, we returned and incredibly disappointed to see not merely the night time market venue had shifted but also decreased in proportions and severely lacking the vibrant atmosphere that managed to get so special. You may still find several stallsaround selling usual regional fare and at the very least we could actually have our lengthy awaited murtabak pisang (banana murtabak). That didn't disappoint and was happy to view it was still probably the most popular stalls. Few places to sit and eat if you don't buy food or beverages from the places below cover with seating. Generally an okay place, but wouldn't be rushing to return.

This night market is crucial for Kelantan food lovers, as there are lots of choices and types of Kelantanese food available. The meals is tasty, and the purchase price affordable. The food comes hawker style.

Nasi tumpang, Laksa Siam, laksam, sotong tumpat, nasi kerabu, Kelantanese cakes, keropok, somtam, etak and Kelantanese traditional meals - whatever you name it offered here. What i love concerning this location is that you get food ala eliminate but you may eat at thenearby stall free of charge; the bowls, forks, spoons and plain water can be found to use. It is possible to order drinks in one of who owns the stalls.

Both for the sit back diner (tables at beverage stalls) or take-apart, this place can be your best bet for diner inside this city that for the others closes up early. Broad selection of meals, from the nasies, satehs to murtabak. All delicious and great valuefor cash. Packaged so you can eliminate as well.

There is not significantly to see except the vendors selling food queuing about both sides of the road.In case you are hungry it's the right spot to be, nothing very much really.

There were hardly any stalls. The food didn't look excellent and was protected in flies. We made a decision to eat elsewhere.

We'd amazing and cheap thai soup. It had been without meat (that is pretty uncommon in Malaysia), therefore vegetarian could be happy here. They have plenty of desserts too. You certainly must try some :)

I've spent five times in Kota Bharu experiencing the regional culinary delights and also have not been disappointed. Night Markets, location inside the teavel guides study slightly ambiguous. Even Search engines maps had directed me a dance searching for them. On my yesterday evening I stumbled acrossthem. How would I price them; We had the Nasi Kerebu in one of the hawkers, in comparison to what We had eaten at among the suburban dining places, I did so not compare nearly as good. The markets provide a good selection of food, plenty to chose from. The atmosphere was why is the place tick in my own estimation. It's worth a trip because you're in Kota simply for the sake to do so. Would I return back, possibly not with the decision Kota provides. If your searching for a spending budget feed to quell your hunger it'll suffice, that's about any of it. Three out of five regarding the knowledge and atmosphere.
