「老闆，板面湯一碗，加半粒！」「沒問題，老師先坐。」「要喝水嗎？」「會笑水一杯。」這家小店頗不顯眼，座落在新村小鎮實里拉龍大家一排店屋中間，旁邊是雜貨店。店裡沒有冷氣，所以遮雨棚掛著舊的招牌布幕擋卻烈日，有點歷史感的吊扇不停吹送微風，四鄰鄉親在此品嚐廉價美味。板面有紮實帶勁的麵條，江魚仔熬煮而成香而不膩的湯頭，釀豆腐、炸肉丸、豬肉片、青菜多片，四塊半，在百物飛漲不已的2020年，這是不合理的價格。詢問過老闆，嗓門洪亮的老闆笑了笑，只說不在意賺多賺少，一家夠吃就好。人們都說旅行的意義在於找回自己，我想，台北香港倫敦紐約這些地方我都去過，甚至住過，那裡固然都有美食可以享用，價位先不提，在聲色犬馬的追逐中，名繮利鎖的捆綁下，還有多少商家守著最初的夢與感動？多少餐廳能抵擋住店租房價黑心原料的夾殺逼迫，堅持擺上一道又一道、毅然煮成一碗又一碗，使人齒頰留香，心滿意足的料理？我沒有答案。我想起剛剛意外過世的球星，科比布萊恩，一人一座城。一座城市因為一個執著而出眾的人在星際間閃爍；在居鑾的近郊實里拉龍，有一家一路發茶餐室。洛杉磯四點的天空，漆黑無聲，科比出門練球；餐飲業者也往往拂衣而起，推門去採買，準備開店營業了。
