quite remote the beaten route and only designed for get aways, Strudel bakery is really a small outlet. Vincent, the ever smiling proprietor, was readily available to meet the first customers. I wasn't thinking about strawberry strudel as ALL nearby varieties are usually sour, but Vincentsinsistence produced me have a box too. the pastry is merely excellent. Observe that my lower on the pastry will be clean with zero crumbs!! very well-baked. Good quantity of apples and cream but perhaps an excessive amount of custard (I am hoping Vincent reads this). it isn't too nice so that's best for most individuals but I'd have like a bit more sugar. sadly fme the strawberry variety had not been up to expectations. when i feared the neighborhood fruit was not sufficient for a strudel. while that isn't the bakers fault, he should decide on a fruit that's naturally lovely. I dont blame him for experimenting but he must consider things into perspective. but nonetheless the apple definitely worthy of your while.
