We have been Aussies, temporarily surviving in Klang, while we await work visas for India (we've a 3 year agreement at a college there)...we've been in Klang for 7 weeks now & we've tried Most of the restaurants....& this eating place is ourfavourite! Dishes we just like & keep re-ordering are: The pork & mushroom claypot Fried kuey teow (toned noodles) Bak kut teh The 'bak kut teh' is really a traditional dish (which Klang is well-known for) which includes meaty pork ribs (& veggies if you would like) simmered in a rich broth of herbs and spices. One term: YUM! We've got this dish at another (well-known) place nearby but we loved Restoran Heng Kie's much better! (On a sidenote, we've furthermore acquired it at the popular "bak kut teh beneath the bridge" near Klang place, which was also excellent.) We just keep returning here cos every dish we've had has been great & the costs are reasonable (ave RM 30 - $10 AUD for the 3 folks). It isn't a flash location at all - looks exactly like any other neighborhood eatery, but who cares, it's about the food, right? Jenny, the owner, will there be every evening and she's lovely. If you are in Klang, please take a look place out...you will not be disappointed. Inform Jenny the 3 Australians sent you!

We'd bak kut teh, fried cup noodles, fried potato results in and bittergourd fried with salted egg. Food had not been bad. Pretty delicious. I really like that they have an excellent variety of food presently there. Their bak kut teh has been good, with strong natural soup. Itis by the primary road so it's easy to locate.
