We met Mr Tan, who owns the espresso powder factory who told us the procedure of making coffee. The procedure involved roasting coffees within an electric rotating device, food preparation in sugar in a large kuali making use of firewood and scooping out to an adjacent huge steel tray for drying. The humble and hardworking Mr Tan will be handing over (or simply already paid) to his two sons (fourth generation) whom we fulfilled aswell at the factory. We purchased some espresso powder at RM42 per kilogram (4 July 2020).
