No. 42, Jalan Idris Kampar Perak
Irvan Lubis
The sleepy hollow town that as soon as a busy tin mined area which will blow into hustle bustle through the festive season just like the Lunar New Yr and Qing Ming lies a concealed gem of great old fashioned famous shaved ice (ice-kacang) where nearly all locals congregate if they get back to their houses from by far - where their roots lies. A location that never move stale for these locals since it relived old memories!

We were on the path to KL from Penang and made an end at Kampar to obtain dinner, can't discover any restaurant that appears good, at last discovered two claypot rice eating place that people had hard time and energy to choose, one is packed of individuals, theother one less clients ( Chan Siew heng ) therefore we made a decision to eat here ( Chan Siew Heng ), initially a little skeptical, cuz another restaurant packed which one not necessarily, but because of hate to hold back, we chose this, Ordered a large pot ( 3 folks ) with sausage and salted seafood, a large chicken foot mushroom and a bowl of Choysum, the rice had been good with the proper texture never to soft, quite fragrant and surprisingly additional soft tender poultry, generous serving of poultry, chicken feet was therefore tender and tasty enjoy my grandmother style, actually traditional style, choysum was great with a gentle hint of soy and oyster sauce. The complete dinner expenses us RM27.60 which includes 2 ice Chinese tea. Will certainly visit again!
