Visited The Substitute lodge and kitchen on the weekend inside Johor Bahru and has been struck by the captivating ambience that is a stark contrast to the chaotic roadworks outdoors 😃 it acts western halal food so do not anticipate any pork. There’s an excellent choice ofbreakfast and western menus. We purchased the breakfast platter, seafood& chips, tomato soup with cheese toast and dark coffee. Tried the chilly brew that i didn’t like; these were really nice to permit me to improve the beverage to warm coffee. Great service nevertheless, you got to appeal to the servers that are busy everywhere. Cost wise, not cheap but choose the ambience, high quality of food and good coffee.

Replacement has been on many JB websites & sites as the recommended breakfast place therefore i sought it out a single morning whilst residing in JB. It's the JB exact carbon copy of a fashionable Western breakfast cafe you’d notice in Singapore and the costs are higher thanmost areas in JB. The espresso was good however the breakfast was simply okay - the bacon had been undercooked and I didn’t realize why heavy sugary raisin toast has been served on a single plate as a savoury breakfast dish with eggs, bacon and baked coffee beans. That said, the area had been bustling and everyone appeared to be experiencing themselves. Service & environment was good and there's free wifi

I've ordered egg Benny and homemade poultry rice. The poultry rice is great, they come with unique chili sauce. Egg Benny is usually average. The purchase price is for the surroundings.

We visited during hi-tea at 3:00 pm. Initial, I noticed there exists a change in menus and cost. I was thinking perform they modification the chef as well? We purchased a cappuccino, churros and carrot cake (Japanese cheesecake unavailable). When we obtain our churros andcarrot cake, it had been like hmmm... we believe it must be worth the purchase price but eventually it seems not really. I experienced visited the area in 2015 which offered me an excellent experience, however, not anymore although that they had changed their interior.
