Traditional. Super yummy. The surroundings brings you back again to the 60s of Singapore where you take in under a pleasant big tree.

Opposite of Hot Sports activity Arena. Plenty of local residents already been here during lunch benefit from the foods. They assist rice and kuey tiao aswell. The beverage of lime with plum excellent and the tin of pineapple fruit juice also excellent. The pineapple juiceis nearby manufactured.

Drive completely to the place for lunch nowadays and ordered mixed pork, duck, curds, pig trotters with kway teow. The meals portions were enough for three hungry individuals and all of the dishes were ready. The pig trotters had been the very best I hadeaten up to now. Tender meat, plenty of tendons. The kway teow was smooth and the blended meat including pig's spare parts, hard boiled eggs etc, were delicious too. The seating environment was excellent- cool and windy despite the fact that the place isn't air conditioned. Rustic setting and Singaporeans or town folks will like this lace.

My family had lunch time there at about 1.30pm on the Saturday. Pros : 1) Best braised duck I've ever tasted. My partner doesn't eat duck also it was a uncommon occation that she ate it. 2) The duck has been done to perfection with thegravy. We purchased the standard fare. 3) Even though place was complete, the meals came after 10 mintes of ordering. Cons : 1) Very crowded during lunch. 2) Parking is across the road. Security could be an issue. 3) Only accept money. Will recommeded this bistro to "duck meat fans" and can't await another meal there.

Found this location by chance and went for this, and boy was I happy i did. Ordered almost every individual item offered but I definitely suggest the bean curd pores and skin (tau kee), it had been the most beautiful thing ever. The purchase price came outa great deal less than I expected. 10/10 would keep coming back here.
