Will definately come once again for tasty Kway Teow Kia whenever I actually visit Johor Bahru. Helping was generous and fast. Kway Teow noodle has been silky clean and the herb flavor soup was great. Braised duck had been my favourite alongside braised tofu and egg. Don't forgetto include salted mustard vege. Recommend this restaurant... good foods!

Kway teow kia is really a common street food inside Johor. At this store, the soup used provides sensible savoury, sweet, organic flavours. The pork and offal utilized was fresh and incredibly well cleaned. An excellent range of braised products from pork tummy, braised duck, tough boiled eggs, tau kee, intestines, skin. Awesome meals, charming feel.

Often in the event that you land on one fine or popular eating place that are famous for a particular dish, varieties for sides are limited. Not really for Woon Kiang, you find a wide options of sides and meals to accompany their all-period preferred: Kway Tiao with herbalsoup! During weekends or holidays queue could be long! The solid fragrance of the fried lard is merely aromatic to the Chinese diners (In the event that you can’t consider pork unfortunately this location will be unsuitable for you personally). The soup that complements the Kway Tiao (heavy Rice vermicelli) will be brewed in solid and rich natural with several crispy lard sprinkled on. Several favorites to opt for such as for example eggplant, Fu Rong Egg (Chinese scramble egg) and bean curds are usually some very nice choices to opt for. Good value for the money. Only thing about this place is accessibility... car parking is a pain.

Not expensive kueh chap around. For the dinner below enjoyed by 4 adults costs RM62. Parking could be a challenge here

Whenever I am back again to JB, I'd food hunt this location which they have already been selling for a lot more than 40 years. Plenty of regional dine there aswell. Opens onward from 5pm at night. It is possible to either dine indoor or even outdoor. Order atthe front counter, telling them everything you like to eat.

Whenever one involves Johor, aside from the nasi ambang, the must eat is this Kuey teow kia (KTK). It really is almost much like kuey chap however the soup is somewhat milder. Woon Kiong is known as argubly the very best KTK inside JB. The soup will be donejust correct and the kuey teow can be thin and smooth, virtually identical with those you discover in Ipoh. Didn't feel thristy regardless of slurping all of the soup. Set that with a number of pig innards (i really like the abdomen and intestine) ,fuchok (fried beancurd) tauhu, difficult boiled egg and fermented veggie (kiam chai) you'll have a pretty good meal. Although the part of the kuey teow will be pretty good, many will never be capable to resist another helping. You might also need either duck meats if pork isn't your liking. Pricewise, very cheap for me after considering the variety and part. I think because of the covid pandemic, the existing operating hours are usually from 130pm till 1130pm

Very decent nearby eats. Duck, pork, Koay teow. Went at 9pm there’s still brief queue. Cleanliness isn't the best, cutlery quite oily & messy.
