How is this location so highly regarded on Search engines and website? Questioned how meaty the crabs are usually b4 buying. Waiter vouched and coming in at RM118/kg for 700g dimensions. It arrived and I’m certain each crab weighed significantly less than 450g. Boss spun some crap that they’reheavy. Yeah right, heavy coz a lot of drinking water in the claws. Con work 🤥.

Server damn petty, because i said i want more time to believe what i have to order therefore i ask him ahead bk later, this individual purposely took their own sweet time bk to get our purchase. Crab claw one part biggerthen another. We ordered nice potato leaf, however they dont possess but didnt bother to inform us, we'd to ask where will be our food b4 they state dont have lovely potato leaf alr. I'll never come bk.

Decided to have a look at Ong Shun Seafood Cafe upon reading among those 'Top 10 seafood dining places to look at in JB' blog content articles. The area started getting fairly packed at about 7pm therefore we thought we may become in for a delicacy, but afterthe food, we decided that people were not amazed with this experience at all. The service degree is poor and the staff, brusque. Upon our seated, a server plonked down the menus without even considering us, stating hello, or giving to recommend what may be great, and promptly walked aside. The laundry we ordered were One Medium-sized Chili Crab (price is seasonal, we paid RM116 per kg at that time we ordered), Kailan with garlic, Claypot tofu, and Fried Beehoon. The crab had not been fresh at all. The meats was smooth and limp, and trapped to the shell at the pincer (that is usually probably the most satisfying part of consuming a crab!), and there is one little bit that smelled and tasted therefore off I spat it out for concern with experiencing a stomachache down the road. The claypot tofu was so-so; tasted like any claypot tofu dish I've had before therefore no issues there. The kailan with garlic has been very good, and the part was quite generous for a medium-sized purchase. The fried beehoon had been passable. Served piping very hot but rather salty.

Arrogant and horrible service! We need to keep phoning for you to definitely take our purchase. Then the young child of the dog owner kept insisting that people proceed to a much smaller sized table. We have been 2 grownups and a kid. He insisted our tablewas for 6 pax. We pointed to another table that had equivalent amount of person (2 grownup and 1 kid) eating on a single size desk and their desk were complete. We insist to stay on the table realizing that when the foods arrive we'll use up much table area. He insisted we proceed and ignore our demand to take our purchase. We remaining and he didn't bother. G

I visited this restaurant many times and I as well as my close friends, enjoyed the seafood foods. A few of my friends just like the place therefore much that they go back to the restaurant making use of their other friends and family members. Parking might be a problem in the event that you comehere from busy timings. But, I usually look for a slot for my vehicle though. Don’t expect a higher end seating region but it’s still best for a group lunch/supper outings. A small amount of older skool experiencing in this restaurant. I love it a lot. Recommended choice : Crab - Chilli / Dark Pepper / Salted Egg . Each is wonderfully created. Prawns - Goreng Kunyit ( Tumeric ) / Cereal Seafood - Seabass or Grouper ( Fry or Steam selection) all great. Squid - Fried / Sambal all good. Others : Crayfish , Infant Squid , Tom Yam Soup, Fried Rice, Noodles Drinks : For me personally it’s just Chinese tea nevertheless, you should try Teh O Ice Lycee Ice Milk Tea All their food have become tasty. My just regret is that I'll over order and may not finish a few of the food.... This place is wonderful for couple, family and friends gathering. Fyi: All meals is Halal.

I recently found the cafe & ordered a whole lot. I had higher expectation for this eating place seeing the reviews & rankings before to arrive. Unfortunately, The majority of the food i bought had been BLAND. The fried hens are tasteless, the seafood gravy tasted bland, theveggies are usually ok, however the salted egg squid will be bland too. I must say i don’t think having to pay 200+ for the foodstuffs are worthwhile. Im a dissatisfied consumer. I really was excited at first, start to see the picture i captured. hoping that restaurant would repair that.

The meals was so si, browse the reviews before come here and says excellent lah everything tasty. i purchased like what in my own image. tofu, nasi goreng had been bland, siakap stim limau flavor so so, taste as well "lemonade". butter prawn has been alright sedap but sorryI'm not really gonna keep coming back here once again. rm84 because of this dishes sorry, not really worthwhile at all.

I came here several times already, the 1st time We came after listening to all of the good evaluation online made me had an enormous expectations and I had not been disappointed. Salted egg squid is definitely tasty, the gravy is solid. The seabass masak nyonya and nestumprawn had been equally delicious aswell and I've no complain. I furthermore had take away several times their salted egg squid because of its deliciousness. However when I came lately for berbuka puasa, their high quality of foods dropped. The salted egg gravy is not any longer heavy, its bland. I simply wish they can continue their food high quality and regularity. Btw, their waiter will be friendly and helpful. Enough time to serve meals is just about 10-15 minutes that i think quite fast when compared to huge group during berbuka.

Service is quite bad, the waiters are usually mostly foreign , nor have any coordination. No additional chili or garlic with soy sauce at the desk maybe you have obtain it yourself. Foods we ordered has been chili crabs, kailan, scorching plate tau hou, butter prawns,man tau loaf of bread, poultry, and noodles for just two 2 tables. 14 paxs Cost us RM 565. Food was so thus and taste is common but is fresh. Ambience is quite low key with nothing at all to truly have a positive comment. It is a Muslim friendly restaurant with high partonage. NO PORK Zero LARD NO ALCOHOL. Servive is bad because you need to get up and help you to ultimately little things like warm water, spoon or requesting service.

superb food. Seafood was refreshing and very tasty. Got salted egg sotong, buttered prawn, chili crab, steam siakap, dark pepper chicken and infant kailan oyster sauce. The mantou bun was so soft rather than oily. Doesnt await long for meals to arrive. Price veryreasonable
